Dear Mr Smith
Understanding your expectation of fair play and leveling the playing field,
we appreciate that you will be excluding Mr Hourihane from your next two
games.
Thank you

It's actually the FA this time Dave, not the corrupt EFL!

I think Bamford does deserve punishment and El gazi should be exonerated but
how they can just ignore the 2 assaults on Klich the grabbing round his neck
and the sly punch in the guts - (and the massive shove on Jansson by the lad he
sort of half tackled during their allowed equaliser)

It really does make you wonder. There is clear video evidence Bamford was a
twat (though I kind of don't blame him given what was going on) but also that
Klich was punched. How can they honestly see one without the other?

Hmmm. Classic FL. Totally one-sided and biased.
However, there is this:
14 Mar 2019 - Aston Villa and Birmingham charged by the FA for failing
to control
their players
I wonder what they will get for a second offence? Probably a REALLY HARD
slap on the wrist this time.

Forgot to include:
Anwar El Ghazi will be available for Aston Villa’s next three matches after a
claim of wrongful dismissal was upheld by an Independent Regulatory Commission.
The forward was sent off for violent conduct during the EFL Championship
fixture against Leeds United on Sunday
Official. Red card rescinded, Bamford up for improper conduct, both teams to
answer for not controlling their players (hard to know what Leeds were to do
given their players were attacked) and nothing about the punch from the other
Villa bastad.
very one-sided i would say.

On Tuesday,

FA not taking any retro-active action about the 'assaults' by other Villa
players - I assume (article is a Villa one with no mention ) that Bamford has
also escaped punishment - if article is true, although would
In a nutshell I would say.

For me the main issue is that Roberts definitely looked like he was going to
play it out. He slowed right down. When he then passed it down the line and
Klich started going towards goal I thought "oh F*ck here we go". Nice finish
though!

I think it's a combination of 3 things:
1. As you said, teams are just packing the box now.
2. It has become a pyschological thing now that every bloke and his dog
know that "not finishing has cost us promotion."
3. We have had an incredible run of bad luck.just off the top
of my head,
I would think Bamford will be banned for the Ipers-witch (loved MB trying
to pronounce it at the press conference). And probably both legs of the
playoffs.

If MB thinks Bamford cheated on Sunday he might drop him from the squad for
Ipswich and perhaps give RE a chance ?

Watching the u23s semi final last night (v Coventry) I thought that Clarke
looked back to what he was pre illness - whether he can do it at first team
level as he was doing earlier in the season or we are all expecting too much
only time will tell , but he did seem to be back on form. taking on
My thoughts exactlyif I were Villa, I would think very hard
before trying to overturn that red card...the last thing I would
want would be to encourage the FL to have a look at the video of all that
stramash. That red card might get overturned, and Bamford might even get
banned
Yes.
Although I also stand by the thought that you play to the whistle…the ref could
have stopped the game. We have seen it done before. He didn’t. So I also don’t
buy that our goal was somehow illegitimate.
And finally, if they’re going after Bamford for cheating, I hope they will
