I really don't know if sacking Bielsa is the right or wrong thing to do at
this point. I think it would have been worth giving him one game
(Leicester) v a team who are not in the big 6 before deciding. Can't say I
am overly excited by this Yank they seem to have lined up either, but of
course I
Will kept it brief - as it stands Bielsa not officially gone - this was awful ,
the players have lost all confidence both in defence and attack. We had enough
clear chances to have, at least in theory , made it 4 4 but the forwards,
like the defenders are totally out of sorts.
Make no
Im truely heartbroken. I could face going down with him in charge. He gave our
club its heart, its soul, its identity and its pride. We’ve lost so much

Guys, let us be clear-headed.
Marcelo, the man, is one thing. But as to our nigh on the moribund state -- was
he part of the problem or part of the solution? No one knows-so why gamble?
It took courage to hire him and the same courage to fire him.
We need to accept the decision and move
When a team have conceded 60 goals so far this season and things are only
getting worse and worse you have to act.
I am gutted for Biesla and he has done so much for the club but unfortunately
it hasn’t worked at all this season.
He has been so unlucky with so many injuries but if he stayed we

I'm absolutely gutted.
Not only a shameful decision by Radrizzani but a wrong one in my opinion.
I loved everything about Bielsa - we'll never see the like of him again.
These last 3 to 4 years has been brilliant, it just won't be the same.
I'm seriously thinking of jacking it in.

Me too, Ted, me too.
With Bielsa it was about love and honour, and they have shown the only they
have is for the dollar sign. Fuck them.

This is day that sealed the departure on Kalvin, Raphinha, Meslier, Struijk,
Bamford, probably Rodrigo, Koch and Gelhardt.
That level-headed enough for you?

Life around LUFC is going to be toxic for the rest of the season, and no-one
knows whether we’ll survive in the Premiership side. I’ve shed tears since
hearing the news last night - we have never and will never have a manager who
so thoroughly transforms a club, from the pitch, it’s mentality,

I think I am going to have to agree with most of this. Like everyone else I
wanted things to continue to work out for Bielsa, but they are not working at
all. What he has done is genuinely incredible, but it's a disaster right now.
Bielsa always made us difficult to play against, it's
Don’t think I will be able to motivate myself to watch any more matches this
season. For me, Bielsa was unsackable and he should not have been sacked. Where
do you go after Bielsa? Would have preferred life in the Championship with
Bielsa over a life in the premiership without him.
This sucks.
I would just like to go on record to say thank you to a massive wonderful man.
In football and beyond. Who went a long way in restoring respect for the Leeds
united brand. I love the guy and always will.
Best regards,Scott.

Just to answer a point Einar made, I think it was pretty clear Marsch had been
lined up to take over in the summer, so it wouldn’t have been Marcelo in the
Championship.
Can’t agree that I won’t be watching any more games either. If I could put up
with Ken Beast/Wise, anything is
Seconded.
I love and admire Bielsa so much that in the unlikely event that the scum
scenario I described were to actually happen, I would actually want them to
succeed!

That’s us down then… we had some games coming up where we could get the points
we need. We have a team of championship level players, that were inspired by
Bielsa to be a much greater whole than the sum of the parts.
We are now doomed. We will be relegated. Really pissed off and disappointed.
Re the sacking..and how could they do it: I actually bumped into
Wilko many years ago when he was on 'is 'ols in Portugal. I asked him about
something about the future, and he prefaced his response with "if I'm
still in the job." This was after we had won the league. I scoffed and said
I’ll take your season ticket Ted / Nick if you do

I would have kept Bielsa until the end of the season.
From a practical point of view, in that I believe no-one else will get more out
of these players, that we will be better for the return of players of the
importance of Bamford, Phillips and Cooper, and that there are at least 3 teams
I
"Where do you want your statue, Marcelo Bielsa?"
Smack bang centre in City Square. He deserves it, nobody has galvanised a city
in such a way as he has.

Don't care if we go down, I'll still support Leeds. I’d rather go down with
Marcelo than anyone else.

Bloody hell, Bielsabol is a fantastic and entertaining style of football, and
it worked for the first couple of years but once the better teams have sussed
it out, and particularly as he won't change anything, we end up where we are.
We see why he never stayed at his previous clubs for more than
27 matches
