So a recall for White
Norris back in the starting line up and no Varney - assume McCormack and
Morison up front - Diouf sub with recalled Poleon
SubsAshdown, Austin, Varney, Brown, Habibou, Diouf, Poleon.
If, like me, you were surprised that Dawson was not on the bench, at the very
least, it turns out that he is 'carrying a knock' so would not be risked
This may be the time for White to prove that he is a decent player - his pace
is not in doubt but his effectiveness is. Hopefully he will get

That is 16 games on the bounce when we have failed to score in the first half
of a game.
I am not sure quite what that statistic means (apart from the obvious we are
not very good) but to go so many games does suggest that there is something in
our tactics etc rather just some statistically
it reminded me to look up Viduka 4 - Liverpool 3 on youtube. Something I
tend to do once year or so since this dark age began ...

True, but that's unrelated. Varney has equalized.

We are in a real crisis. We are on course to get relegated. Our owners are
COMPLETELY out of their depth. We are highly unlikely to get any points under
Redfearn. We need(ed) to sign Adkins. Total, total disaster.

Record or not the form of some of those teams is worrying an as things stand
the 3rd and 2nd bottom teams need 5 points. Peterborough unbeaten although
mainly draws, Blackburn surely have the talent to turn it round

No chance. They will all drop points. 5 points below us is a massive massive
gap.
Teams above will (naturally) win more. I'd say a 5 point gap below is
equivalent to a 7-8 point gap above.
Still, we are an absolute shambles.

What I meant by that is that if we were in 6th, say, I'd be more worried about
a team 7 points below us taking our playoff place than I would be of us being
relegated now.

Great news for Norwich, they scored 2 good goals in a hard earned point.
Becchio didn't get on unfortunately.

Just back from game and didn't hear said interview but I was angry with
Redfearn today. I can only assume he's not got the authority with the players
to be able to try things. I know he can't conjure new talent from thin air, but
I saw nothing today that couldn't have come from a Warnock team -
fair play to you fella for turning up for that shite

I heard Hughesy got the best reception - what does that tell us. The bloke was
at best an average Division 3 player but he had a bit of passion and how many
of the players who have turned out for us this season could you say that about
? Not many, if any ?

Next 2 quick succession home games can, I hope, dispel all concerns.

Yep Hughes got the most songs.
McCormack buzzed around and looked interested, Byram and Green tried to make
something happen - the rest of them were a waste of space.
Brown got booked 5 seconds after coming on and Morison may have just have
completed a trio of the worst ever Leeds appearances -
He certainly isn't. MES is a Citeh fan!
