Oh man! RIP Dave. A man who lived life to the full - a true inspiration. So
many hilarious stories from his travels. Never let the Lards down. I
remember him jumping off his bike and straight on the pitch in 'dam ;-)

The LeedsList has lost a great stalwart in Dave Dowden. Made an absolute
legend of himself at Worldnet when my brother Jim and I attended way back
in... was it 1999 ... in Adel? Apart from his antics, he also formed part of
the backbone of this list, which still goes strong to this day.

Beautifully done
As I’m in digest land I have only just learned of the sad loss of Dave.
I remember many of the stories and remember Dave himself from list meets
from the early days, and of course the early Worldnet weekends.
He was someone who helped to make those events special to me and many
others.
So sorry

I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the loss to the list, Leeds United
and, most importantly, his family, Dave Dowden. I did not know Dave personally
and to my mind we never met, knowingly. I suspect we may well have met on one
or other Lards outings at the Worldnet tournament latterly
