Early days but we're just not competing in midfield. O'kane looks pedestrian.

He's a complete passenger. No pace, no idea. Can't play on his own up front.

Yep, they are awful but have dominated.
I'd take Wood off, Sacko up front and Roofe on wing.

I'd certainly like to see Roofe given a chance. Though I'd probably go for him
up front.

Yep why not? Just fucking shouting at the TV - Ayling , can't he fucking cross
a ball.
At least we're starting to put a few moves together.

Chatting to an Oxford fan in the pub here in Devon just now. Basically looked
perplexed when I said we'd played Roofe wide on the left. Of course he'll be
rubbish there he said. You have to play him in the middle behind the front man.
He really rates him.

We also seem to be content to concede free kicks and corners. Cardiff are the
worst team I've seen for a while, but they are better than us.
I am gobsmacked at our play at times. We are one paced and that is slow. O'kane
is fucking awful, probably worse than Grimes. Vierra looks lost to me and
Yeah, just letting them play, it's ridiculous and really frustrating to watch.
What is going on ? I can't believe Monk is pleased with that half ?

Brilliant goal followed useless decision making 2 mins earlier. Sums him up.
Having moaned all through the match I do think there has been an improvement
second half after we were gifted a pen.
Overall though , poor for me. Too many sloppy passes, Hernandes, O'Kane being
the main culprits. .
I do think it also helps that we no longer think we're going to concede with
every corner / set piece which is massive for us. Credit to Monk for that.

Massive credit to Pontus Jansson for that. He's a colossus. Best centre back
we've had for many years. Proper b*stard.

definitely, Jannson the new Molenaar?
While the performance was pretty dire for most of the match, the players do
seem to be more confident

Couple of things - when was the last time our centre halves got such praise '
if Pontus doesn't get you, Bartley will'
Of course it is too soon to say our corner / free kick problems are over - we
were saved by the post twice and Green looks suspect - but today and supposedly
in the last 2 game
I guess I am just not sure what he does well. He doesn't win headers, doesn't
hold the ball up, has no pace. He does take penalties well.
