Tian Chua is a Malaysian labour organiser.
On 10 April 2001 Tian Chua was arrested. He has not been charged.
On 24 April 2001 he was officially detained under
was the AAWL delegate to the commemoration and attended the
health safety meetings and protests held in Bangkok to mark ten years
since the tragedy in which 188 workers died because of the negligence of
the company. This report is part of our continuing support for right of
workers in the Asia
