I understand I felt the same way welding would take a great deal of work to get a smooth joint Mine I had lots of time to move and twist in place which I did inside the Delrin leadscrew nut Then clamped thread in a pair of V-blocks then removed the leadscrew nut and let dry after 2 days a few

Wow, there is a good amount of surface area but that must be also some good epoxy. Thanks for sharing. I do have some concerns over what join method to use and how smooth the transition is in this area since those delrin nuts are not as tough as I hoped. (Should have gotten more spares) Jeff
