Susan, It always has shown the full location in the Events List. I would
imagine that this is because it is one place from which it can be changed.
Certainly, for me, I would not wish this to be changed.

Hi Everyone:
I suspect this issue has been dealt with before.
The font in Notes in all my files has shrunk to an unreadable size. I have
tried all the Help options, but am unable to find how to adjust this
problem.
Thanks

Hi Wayne,
This has been noticed before although I'm not sure what the current
status of the fix is. It is certainly occurring in the latest build
released 12/6. It shouldn't be too much of a problem because when
re-opening the notes window the font displays in the correct size. It
makes
No, I shut the firewall completely off before trying.

Arnold,
The thread wasn't being kidnapped or hijacked as you state. Check the
subject line. It's very general - exactly as YOU left it. YOU should
have started a new thread with a proper subject.

Good point. It probably should. I'll ask Ken about it.

Hi Bob:
I am not sure what you mean. My notes are shrunken and remain that way, when
you re-open the notes or not.

Mike,
My complaint is that Ted removed my text from the message. As a
result, Sherry and others began to discuss Ted's concern and mine was lost.
Similarly, you removed part of my message when you made this reply.
Again, the guts of my message becomes lost.

Arnold, I gree with you about threads being highjacked. People should use the
new button.
To answer your question the refresh button, like other browsers, refreshes the
page on which one is.

For Genealogy,
My notes have always been small. Is there a way to change the size? If I copy
and drop information into notes, no matter what size, it is the copied as a
larger size until I close the note box, then it is quite small. It is compact,
but I certainly could handle it larger.

Try this work around: Open notes, expand the notes screen to full size (box
at top right of screen), then click save. Open notes again should bring the
font to large, on my PC, this fix during the current session of Legacy, I
have to repeat the process for each new session.

Wayne,
Sorry for my previous confusing post. Looking again at what I wrote I
should have said to click the Zoom button located on the right-hand

There seems to be an awful lot of bad feeling on the list at the moment - a

I joined the list to learn about using Legacy and there is a vast amount of

Ron, can you explain it is one place from which it can be changed?
I, too, don't want it permanently to show short locations. I usually
customize to show full location names always. But this week I need
short locations to quickly spot things to fix.
Thanks

Susan, perhaps the best way is by an example.
Suppose I have entered the location as St Helens, Lancashire, England as the
full address and subsequently find the name of the Parish in St Helens for that
particular individual say, Parr.
Let us also say that I do not have a location of Parr, St

Hi Tish,
It's not clear whether you have had the pictures attached to Legacy
in the past and have now shifted them around - in which case you need
Options Customise - Locations tab to tell Legacy where they are now.
