Cathy,
I cite the head of household: Joel F. DeBoard household.
The exception is when it is someone of a different surname, boarding in the

Cathy, In this situation, I still use the head of household in the citation.
However, I add he was a boarder in Joel DeBoard's house in the Notes on
Michael Smith's census Event. I like the way that looks on the reports I run.
So maybe that is just personal preference.

Cathy,
Although I am still on the fence with this, I currently have almost all of my
cemeteries, hospitals and churches in the Event Address list. If, however, you
use book reports, you'll find that when the cemetery (eg) is printed in
parens, it will include the entire address... which is

Because I just did a quick test on the Ancestor Book and it does?
Or is the problem that Event Addresses aren't included on enough reports (most

I am trying to make a descendancy chart from my great grandfather down to

To be truthful, I didn't immediately notice the generate married names option

Paula,
The Location as shown in the Events do show up in web pages. Howver, addresses

I don't enter the city, county, etc. in the Event Addresses. That way you
don't get the redundant addresses. You can still enter the coordinates, for
mapping purposes. I usually look up the street address of the cemetery so I
have the exact coordinates rather than just the city's.

I was referring to the Event Address lists (Burial, etc), not the Master

Carolyn,
I have removed the city etc. from Event Addresses, too, to remove redundancy in

What you could do, is make a separate database where you 'adopt' all the 1/2

I think your problem Is that this is a Descendant Chart, and 1/2 kids are
