Boyd,
I assume that you mean Version 7.0.0.97 as .98 has not been released (if there
is one somewhere!)
I have just tested the search as you described and it returned 325 records. The

Ron,
Sorry, yes it is version 7.0.0.97.
As you have found, the search works properly with any sources entered before
version 97, but does not seem to work with any entered and searched for
under the current version. I think we have a bug.

Boyd,
Before I test this further, would you please clarify. Version 7 has been out
since around July of last year whilst version 7.0.0.97 has only been out for a
few days, which do you mean?

Ron,
Yes I have been using Legacy since version 3 and I tend to keep up to date

the early bugs had been sorted. I downloaded and installed version 7.0.0.97
last Monday and I have been entering a whole lot of sources this
Thanks Ron - I enjoyed your take on writing vs accountancy.

Thank goodness Legacy has the book features automated, I too would

Jenny,
I'm sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I had entered people and data

This meant that I had some fields with no source attached. With the current

Why is it still listing sources separately?

Hi Sue,
It is not very clear just what you want but Legacy 7 cannot convert
basic source to sourcewriter. You need a separate program. The best
and cheapest is ltools which is designed for Legacy. MS Access is next
choice. Open Office (actually cheapest - free) should also work but

Thank you so much for the link. I have now downloaded the software. This
