Hello,
I have noticed,in the the LUG Archives, some of the messages are
displayed in a kind of faded out look and the links don't work.
Some messages are as usual OK, but some would display lighter that others.
Is this a problem with my computer of something the LUG archives is doing?
Thank you,

Hi Could anyone tell me if there is a way of changing the format of a Legacy
Chart for purposes of sharing, to say a BMP or preferably a JPG. Or is there
a program that I can put onto CD with the said chart for others, who do not
use legacy, to be able to see the chart???
Regards Philip Rooke
I found the problem. It had to do with Dropbox.

What kind of problem with Dropbox? Genviewer seems to work OK with my
files in the Dropbox folder. Was the problem with Dropbox or was it an
issue with just locating the file you were looking for?

I use the pdf format and one can transport on cd/memory stick or email

In Legacy Charting, click on the Publish tab and then select Export
to File, where you can export to PDF as well as BMP, JPG, PNG or TIF.
You can also order the charts through our printer at a reasonable
price. Click on the Order Charts button under Publish and select
the size and type of paper
Brian,
The archives are run by another company, www.mail-archive.com, and we

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm reminded that I can use Legacy in a flexible
manner, and not feel that if I list a Census Event for one person, I have to do
it for every ancestor I find.
