Greetings
Unless I am missing something I think there is a bug in Legacy Version 8.0
which I would like others to confirm before I log a problem report. I am
currently testing Version 8.0.0.439 Standard Edition.
I attempted to change the Font by which labels are displayed in the Family
View

The most recent version is 8.0.0.427 not 8.0.0.439. Update to the most
recent edition. Problems in old versions may well be fixed in the latest
updates.

I am trying to create a wall chart. I've put a color on one group that
isn't the same as the others and don't know how to change it so that all
the colors are the same.
Please help. I need this for a reunion I'm attending.
thank you,

Cathy Brian,
Guess I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I can reproduce this problem
unfailingly. Thanks for your replies.

Colours are set on the Appearance Ribbon Colours. There are a variety

Your Family file is automatically updated each time you make a change.
If you want to throw away changes you made in a session you will have to
restore from a backup file which does not contain those changes.

Brian,
Is there any reason I can't use a backup to create a focus group of one --
i.e., my father and then export that as a .gedcom and import it into my
current family file??

Hi Gene,
Then something else is going on in your file perhaps that isn't in
Brian's or mine.
Are the twins reporting properly in reports?
Is this happening for you in the Sample file if you add twins to one of
the families there?

Hi Pat,
If your father is not in the file at all now, then you can restore a
backup, give it a different name so you don't overwrite your current
file, and then export just your father (by tag or focus group) - but
export to a Legacy file. You don't use Gedcom to go from Legacy to
Legacy. Then
That would work is he is not in your file. You could also do drag and
drop in split screen with the restored backup (as a new file name) on
one side and your family file on the other. In one of your replies
though you said your mother and father were married to each other twice
whicht implied he
Since he is (or rather was) missing entirely they were no longer married to
each other twice. I've never done a split screen and feel a bit
intimidated by it.
Anyway, I've got him successfully integrated now and I thank you both for
your advice and help!!

Personally, I create a .pdf --esp when I'm trying to find a
citation/source--and search that -- so much easier in my opinion.
