Kay, I think the date you are talking about is the one under the image, right?
That's only printed if the image is printed in reports--part of the caption.
I don't think that field is even validated. --Paula

Would you really just say listed on a deed ? Or would it be acquired first
parcel of land on Black Creek or something that helps the reader of your
report get the feel for what the deed really means? (I am not a land documents
expert, though.) --Paula

Leif, A Pedigree Chart has a set format... specific data it will show. There
is very little you can add... see the Report Options Include tab. Basically,
you will get name, birth date place, death date place, and for males
marriage date place. --Paula

I second Brian's comments... thanks for stating them so well, Brian. ;)It also
depends on which reports you are going to use... and who will be reading them
why. I don't think I would want to have to read end notes to see the
trail.--Paula

See Tools Advanced sourcing. Check the Help for that since there are
many options on who you can assign the sources to and where they can be
applied.

Jay,

Jay,
I can understand your point, but respectfully disagree.
I agree that all vendors have different data models, but when a vendor
adds functionality to their product that extends the basic Gedcom data
model, it is, in my opinion, in their best interest (and that of their
customers) to see how

Try this - with Legacy closed, go to the Documents\Legacy Family
Tree\_AppData\usr folder and delete the Legacy2.usr file.
When you go back into Legacy, the file will be recreated - see if that helps.

Here is a question that has been bothering me for some time. And with the
current lull on the LUG, I thought I'd seek an answer now. What is the
difference between Master Sources default to Published or Unpublished?
