Hi Sandi & Bob,
The Ctrl-space only removes character formatting not line feeds (extra lines)
and then only if the section you are trying to removed the formatting from is
selected. Line feeds are document formatting not character formatting.

HI Sandi, I thought that was the answer as I had this same issue. Recently
FireFox no longer supported the add-on utility for this and I was back to the
same problem and then the latest version (53.0.3) solved this for me. Be sure
you have the latest version.

I use 2-3 browsers depending on my use for them. Each one does things a little
differently.

I found on the back of the manual Ctrl keys that do options while in a note
