Hello all!
I'm in the process of making a donation of my 40+ year research to a major
regional library. I've already rounded up the supporting folders/files
collected over the years. I have Legacy research on my own line; maternal
and paternal lines, inlaws, etc. These are all separate
gle Drive. The

Question.
I have my genealogy supporting folders on GOOGLE DRIVE for remote family
members to be able to refer to.
Just got to wondering if LEGACY and it's supporting folders/files could be
part of G-Drive as well?

I've had the same problem!
However, when I go to *OPTIONS *from the index screen and columns set the
way I want, I don't see "
*Options, then select Customise Columns." *
I must be missing something. Can you be more specific as to how to find
this setting?
Thanks

I used to get several e-mail postings from the group almost daily.
Now I seldom get any. What happened? I'd think with Covid-19 on the loose,
activity would have increased, rather than slacked off

I use several of the 9 TAGs available (I have the deluxe registered
version of Legacy 9) for various purposes.
But, poking around in settings I see no way as to how to change the COLOR
on an *individual tag*. Am I missing something? It appears it's an all or
none choice of color!

Hi everybody,
I'm taking a little survey if you'll participate.
What app do you use to 'sync' Legacy between your MAIN computer and a
SECONDARY computer?
What do you feel is the advantage of your choice vs another app?

Is there any way to perform a search for a particular string/phrase
embedded in the GENERAL Notes section?
I've used a particular phrase and would like to find, and create a report,
of individuals where I've used that phrase.

I'm thinking of putting my research on to a web site. As I understand it,
this can be done in LEGACY.
I have some questions though...
1) is just the basic information for individuals put on the site
2) are any notes for individuals put on the site
3) is anything in the media gallery (photos,
I use Legacy primarily on my desktop computer. Legacy information (folders,
files) are on a physical internal secondary (D) hard drive. I want to use
my laptop to access my Legacy information when on field trips using
SugarSync to synchronize between the two. But I'm having a problem with the
I have two physical HD's on my computer. I try to keep my "C" drive for the
operation system and use the 2nd physical HD for all other working files,
photos, documents etc etc.
I notice in the LOCATIONS tab in customizing the default path(s) for Legacy
are as follows:
C:\Legacy Genealogy
Thanks to everybody for all the different ideas/options for me to consider.

I know I'm doing something wrong but don't know if the problem is with
Legacy9 or SugarSync. I must not have the file(s) noted for syncing.
If this is not an appropriate subject for the User's Group please contact
