The page must have been taken down. The link I had was several years

Thanks for finding it in the way back machine. I see the instructions

Hi everyone: I know this program is LDS based so I'm a little shy asking this.
How does one list a live-in partner, either opposite or same-sex? In my family
(as in so many families these days) we have some couples who lived together for
many years, but did not marry, no children. Also,
*Wow ok, let me break up the question please.
How do you list a couple living together of the opposite sex?
I would just link them together but mark them as unmarried.
How do you list a couple of the same sex living together?

The request for allowing same sex partner ships and/or marriages has
been requested many times over the last several versions of Legacy. It
would require some fundamental and extensive changes to Legacy and the
add-on programs. There is a work around using Access if you have
knowledge of that
Legacy is NOT LDS based. It does however contain a lot of LDS related
information to support those users who are LDS.
To record a couple who did not marry link them as husband and wife but
on the marriage info screen you can indicate that this couple did not
marry. There are also wording options
as unknown

Sandra,
Lot of things below are mentioning 'Access'. If you do not have it, I
would like to make a suggestion. LibreOffice has been a great help for me.
