When preparing the report look in the upper left of the report options.

Firstly go to Options > Customize > Data defaults
Check that the default units of measure have not been changed from your
preference (inches or cm)
If they have reset the default units and save your preferences
If you had to change your default units try the report to see if that
fixed the problem
