How curious!
In any case, the omission of the latitude and longitude from customised lists
has been confirmed by Legacy as a bug and been reported. It is the _PLAC_DEFN
tag that is missing.

Jerry,
where do you see Legacy gedcom? When I click on the Export, I see on my
computer only the following three options:
-- Gedcom
-- Legacy
-- Clooz
Of the above three, the Legacy option does not show any gedcom but a file
extension of .fdb.
I'm using Legacy v.7.5.0.166
so, please provide
When you create a gedcom, on the main Gedcom Export window, you have
an option to Produce Program For. The default is Legacy. Other
options include Ged 5.5, Basic, Generic, etc.
The Legacy option is not to create a gedcom but to export to a new Family File.

Perhaps I am missing obvious, but I do not see a

permanently GEDCOM 5.5.1 Only.
Help and thank you,

You can't. The option holds as long as you have the Gedcom Export window open.

It appears that Latitude and longitude are not being exported. Can anyone
confirm this?
If so, I now wish I had not updated to the latest version.

I Don't know what I am doing wrong. It is not the importing program because I
checked the GEDCOM and there is no _PLAC_DEFN tag, let alone the rest.

OK - I have discovered that if I don't load the list I had prepared ages ago,
everything is fine. I have used this list forever and it never created a
problem before. Below is the list. Any problems there?

Hi Jennifer. Did you happen to see my reply before Sherry sent her
reply? I know for a fact (unless this has been changed with a later
version of Legacy), that you have to create an export gedcom as a Legacy
gedcom - you cannot create a gedcom 5.5 and transfer into TNG if you
want the mapping
Hi Jerry
I was creating the GEDCOM for Legacy option.
It seems the problem I had was something to do with loading the customised list
I had saved. I have contacted Sherry with that information.
