Ian, You can search on Modified Date and Modified Time if you need that as well. They're in the list of fields you can search under M. From the search list you can use Options - Print and customise to include the information you want. You can include the modified date - this time it's in the

When a document is converted to PDF, the PDF conversion removes all formatting and substitutes there own PDF formatting to give the appearance of the original document. All tables of contents, page numbers, paragraph numbers, indexes, captions, etc. are converted to the PDF ‘fixed’ format.

This is exactly my problem. When editing the document in Word it messes up page numbers & source numbers. The Word document & rtf do not have text marking for index, etc. And I can't see a way to see those marking in pdf. S this problem is unsolvable except my making corrections by hand.

But the original poster wanted to edit that after it is open in Word and still wanted the Index, Table of Contents and page numbering to work. Does the converted Word document have the text marking for those entities? I doubt that the PDF has anything that would let Word keep the markings

Gordon, I put that sort of information in the Marriage Notes. Things like "xyz index (or family tree) indicates they had 6 children. I've only entered one because ...) You may prefer a Marriage Event. If it's about them having other children, it doesn't really fit as an Individual Event.
