Re: [LegacyUG] About Legacy9

2017-04-20 Thread Jill Baty
I agree. Very transparent. So much so that I had to seek the advertised
changes!

[LegacyUG] Upgrade

2017-04-19 Thread Jill Baty
Hi it took me awhile to figure out the upgrade install. Each time I tried to
convert my file and backup, nothing happened. I finally opted not to backup,
and to just convert the old files, and it worked.

Best Regards,
Jill A Baty

Re: [LegacyUG] Downloading updates

2017-03-15 Thread Jill Baty
Hi you are probably more advanced than I am but just in case... sometimes the
screen resolution combined with the zoom size will cause items to not appear on
the display and I have experienced the scroll bars not appearing. So I lower
the zoom.

Captcha's shouldn't be affected by pop-up blockers etc?

Jill A Baty

[LegacyUG] Lexington to Frankfurt KY Users

2017-03-11 Thread Jill Baty
Hi is there anyone between Lexington to Frankfurt KY who would like to meet to
simply type in our Legacy records? It is so tedious (but necessary) for us
extraverts like me to sit at home typing for hours. Maybe we could meet at a
local library, bring records, type, chat, help each other, share findings, etc!

Let me know. I would be happy if one person takes me up on this! Even if we
met once a month, I'd be that much further along!

(I love just about everything about genealogy except the data entry haha- a
very necessary evil! Can I say that? Legacy is the best, but...)

Best Regards,
Jill A Baty
