[LegacyUG] Gedcom files

HI. I am trying to create a gedcom file of my family file from Legacy 9.00 for importing into Family search and Ancestry. I Have tried using various file types eg - Basic, 5.5.1 gedcom while it saves it as *.ged, file extension I am unable to open the saved file to view it before importing

Hi I Had the same problem: You need t oo to Customise on bottom right of the window. There are more options there. Also look at options in the top right. I also use a programme called gen viewer which allows you to see what will be exported. Regards. From: LegacyUserGroup On

Robert. Two ways: 1. Unlink them from your from their families so keeping them in your database. 2. Tag the ones you want deleted an then delete them. Either way you need to spend time making sure you unlink or delete the correct ones. Cheers From: LegacyUserGroup On Behalf

Somehow, When I open Legacy it doesn't give the option of which file to open I need go to a list of files then open the one I want to work on. Also when I close legacy it doesn't give me the option of saving to back up or just closing. Finally when I went to create a chart the charting
