In computer terms Null is an empty field (as opposed to a field which
may be filled with space characters so it looks empty). If Check Repair
was fixing Nulls it was making corrections to record with fields which
were empty. Since you mention parent - child this may be parent-child
can someone explain "nulls" to me?
I have a large database and within it is my family tree so not all are
connected to it
In the past I have simply added, linked or merged folks as needed then
exported my line into a new Legacy file.
The last time I did this and then ran a Check/Repair I got a

Check that the son doesn't have two sets of parents in Legacy. One pair
may be blank/unknown.
