I'm not sure but suspect GEDCOM problems were caused by leftover
files. I removed vers86 (but not totally) and installed v40 from CD.
I did this because L7 versions up to 55 had the abili
version 7.0.0.90 file.
On the computer running version 7.0.0.40 the radio buttons fade to
inactive on all types of sources (indicating iit could be merged into
another source).

When I click on ANY source that begins with asterisk then the
"Combine" button the radio buttons all remain active (unchanged).
When I click on ANY basic source then the "Combine" button the radio

I notice a TIFF file does not
open, it seems to be missing. I can attach it as a Document OK but if I try

I wouldn't know because my basic sources were far from perfect. Ltools
easily converts, adding the blank template and keeping the multimedia
attached and the Text/Comments. Filling in the template is work,
especially for a slow typist like me.

utility.
My cousin is away a few days. I have to break up multimedia into several
smaller files to email so I need to get him to unzip to proper place. Bob's
tip to control his computer is not for me but thanks for the suggestion.

button to it. Otherwise I see no reason to have tags. I wrote an Access
query to show only tagged. Anyone know how to use these tags in Legacy?
