ln -sfv libncurses.so /usr/lib/libcurses.so
note that the 'n' is not present in the word after /lib.
so i added the 'n' into libcurses becomes and it became libucurses.
is it ok.
[2] in ch6.50.1 pg166, the option --strip-path=1 is
allo support,
in ch6.13 afer running expect -c spawn ls got :-
the system has no more ptys. ...
so how do create more ptys before i can continue.

No. libncurses.so is the real library name, the one that ncurses
builds
and installs. We *want* packages that look for libcurses.so to find

cd into the new glibc source directory and did the 3 patches, mkdir
../glibc-build.
cd ../glibc-build
then in ...glibc-build#

along the way, but at the end of 5.7, no message output at the dummy test.
so far i follow exactly the book except at 5.7 the Adjusting of Toolchain, the
script file did not prepend that /tools in the

but may i ask has that got something to do with the dummy test ?
and if i reset the date/time now will it be ok or i have to start all over.

install my openGL_SDL application which is developed using kDevelop in redhat
linux.
if it can be done i will invest the time to build LFS till the distro stage.
