hi, upon rebooting after completing the book, got the following screen lines INIT Id 1 respawning too fase: disable for 5 minutes INIT Id 2 respawning too fase: disable for 5 minutes - similarly up to INIT Id 6 respawning too fase: disable for 5 minutes no more processes left in this run

may be you just missed the mkswap /dev/hda1 step ... -- well i think not because all my 3 hard drive in 3 different PCs gave the same message. me and my friend are sure that step is done. we had been rather careful not to miss asny steps. but nontheless, the next round we will make special

No. libncurses.so is the real library name, the one that ncurses builds and installs. We *want* packages that look for libcurses.so to find the compatible libncurses.so file so we make a link to it. and i had already go all the way to the end of ch6, pg 190 what do i need to do to get
