A welcome addition. libMesh was more or less in its infancy when Brian was
finishing up at UT, so I figured we lost him for good when he left. I'm

Besides his discontinuous element stuff that he wants to put in... he
also expressed interest in fleshing out the unit tests that I
started... doing a new parallel error estimator (where you do
auxiliary solves on parallel patches).
