With this patch, the start screen displays correctly on startup with
scaling set to 130% (tested on OpenSUSE 11.4 x86-64).
However, if you start LibreOffice with scaling @ 100%, then change
scaling to 130% with the start screen still open, the bug remains.

Since 3 days, my environment does not build fully (it did last week).
Win7 x64, building Win32 with msvc 2008 Express under Cygwin.
It stops when building libcairo. I tried to relaunch with:
/opt/lo/bin/make cairo.clean cairo
which lead to the command:
