[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107942] Text is missing in dialogs in some remote desktop connections
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107942 --- Comment #2 from Aron Budea --- The host is a Windows 2008 server system, the client is Windows 7. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 36867] [EDITING] Not currently possible to undo wrong autocapitalization in Calc
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36867 ge.hu...@gmx.net changed: What|Removed |Added Severity|enhancement |normal --- Comment #14 from ge.hu...@gmx.net --- The problem still exists in Version: 5.3.1.2, Build-ID: 1:5.3.1-0ubuntu2 I resent, that this is classified as an "enhancement". If Ctrl-Z after an autocorrect not only undoes the autocorrect but also everything the user typed before, this is clearly a bug to me. There is no discernible logic in this behaviour, the more so, because in Writer it works exactly as expected and therefore differently than in obviously broken Calc. Please fix the mess. Any and all text can be deleted, including from the page header, and it will save and close properly. Even as .odt, delete the header, even apparently empty, and it will save without problem, BUT then close the file and LibreOffice crashes. Guaranteed. If styles formatting (not direct formatting) or formula changes are affected, then the canvas view doesn't bring the user back to that cell. It must be (at least) partly a regression because formula changes are shown in LibO 3.3.0 but not in current versions. D1: apply a direct formatting feature like Bold or Align right 7. Go down to row 100 so that the first row isn't visible. 8. Take back a change and see if the view jumps to the first row. 9. The error you see come from the field formula format like this: =curr_emp+curr_adm \\# "#,##0" The last part is not supported, I should convert it to =curr_emp+curr_adm BUT it will no resolve your problem since variable curr_emp and curr_adm are not well defined. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107953] New: Not enough precision when showing single-precision variable in BASIC debugger watch
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107953 Bug ID: 107953 Summary: Not enough precision when showing single-precision variable in BASIC debugger watch Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: lowest Component: BASIC Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mikekagan...@hotmail.com As described on https://randomascii.wordpress.com/2012/03/08/float-precisionfrom-zero-to-100-digits-2/, to uniquely identify a single, it is required to show 9 decimal digits (and 17 for double). Currently, watch in BASIC IDE shows only 7 decimals for single, so e.g. > dim s1 as single, s2 as single, d as double > s1 = 1.1754943 > s2 = 1.1754944 > d = s2 - s1 would show s1 and s2 *both* as 1.175494, while d would contain 1.192E-07, showing that the shown precision is not enough. The suggestion is to show 9 significant digits for single values. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

So, the first time I open sample3 document, I have ~45 gdi objects, and if I copy paste the OLE object once, I have ~95, so it needs to be copied 200 times approximately. This might be an issue caused by the fact that the documents I work with are old and have been worked on with OpenOffice and then almost every version of LibreOffice since it was forked from OpenOffice. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107955] New: Implement an interpolation function

That is, if you have a set of x_i and y_i, you want to know the values y'_i at abscissas x'_i. Currently, there is no interpolation function in calc, though. I would greatly appreciate one. The basic functionality would be to have a linear interpolation. Other type of interpolation include staircase and cubic spline. All these interpolations could be done by simply evaluating the function, or also by using an averaging between two consecutive x'_i. Such a function exists in another spreadsheet software called gnumeric, so it is possible to take some inspiration from it (with a critical look, though). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 58874] OFFSET function in array context compatibility with Excel
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58874 Eike Rathke changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |ASSIGNED Assignee|libreoffice-b...@lists.free |er...@redhat.com |desktop.org | --- Comment #12 from Eike Rathke --- So indeed, for OFFSET in array context Excel returns an array of references, e.g. OFFSET(A1,ROW(1:3),0,2) returns A2:A3 A3:A4 A4:A5 which then fed to SUBTOTAL calculates each independently and returns an array of results. With A1:A5={1;2;4;8;16} and =SUBTOTAL(9,OFFSET(A1,ROW(1:3),0,2)) the result is {6;12;24} Same for =SUM(OFFSET(A1,ROW(1:3),0,2)) in array context. I assume the same works for all functions that can be specified as SUBTOTAL first argument, at least it does for AVERAGE as well. (Note: {1;2;3} should be the same as ROW(1:3) but Excel does not accept the inline array.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99182 --- Comment #4 from Yousuf Philips (jay) --- (In reply to Buovjaga from comment #3) > Repro. Thanks for repoing it. Can you provide some simple steps for its repoing and can you test if its inherited from OOo or is a regression. (In reply to Yousuf Philips (jay) from comment #0) > when the presenter exits console mode at 3:08, there are now > three line breaks between the paragraphs. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 99528] Better handling for multiline tabs
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99528 --- Comment #10 from Yousuf Philips (jay) --- (In reply to Thomas Lendo from comment #9) > Most people are used to read LTR or RTL, not top to bottom or reverse. The contents of the tabs are ordered top to bottom in columns. > Also there is much more horizontal than vertical space. That all depends on how the controls are organized. Many tabs have extra wide controls for no reason (e.g. Character dialog's hyperlink and highlighting tabs, nearly every tabs in the Paragraph dialog) > Using a scrollbar would be a usability disaster. A vertical layout should only > be an option for very few (~handful) points. Cant say i agree with you, as when you have content that is larger than the available space, scrollbars are common and useful (e.g. browser, file manager). Alternatively you would have to have more vertical tabs, but you wouldnt be for scrolling within the vertical tabs. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

As built-in styles arent deletable, the user can only delete user-defined styles, so the entry should only list unused user-defined styles.
