Hi Jim,

I'm aware of those entries and adjusting them wont give the wanted result as
none of them mention what the initial width should be, which the 0.00pt of
linewidthmf:0.00pt is being used to do so. It is something that needs to be
looked into in the code.

You can pass a filename as a parameter for a macro:
https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20=8232#p38910

I believe you could write a macro that takes the filename and slide number you
provide and launches the presentation.

I don't think this should be implemented as a feature, so I will close.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94847] RTL Page order

2017-11-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94847

I tested in the following version:

Version: 6.0.0.0.alpha1+
Build ID: 6070dec9ca9a15587a2aece81f9ae1ab5ac0f8c4
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.9; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-US (en_US.utf8); Calc: group
(Build from 2017-Nov-05 00:00)

OS: Debian 64bit Stretch (Debian 9.2, with some backported packages)

Format -> Page in this version is:

Format > Page... > Page
And you set:
  Page layout - Mirrored
  Outer margin - 4.00"

The Test direction control affects the text direction in the pages rather than
the "page mirroring" i.e. page 1 stays at the right side, page 2 stays at the
left side, etc.

I found no way to set "page mirroring" so that page 1 is at the left side as
needed by RTL books.

It seems to me that there is a confusion over terminology, much like the
confusion that used to exist among paragraph justification and paragraph major
text directionality.

Works for me.
In this version, reproduction instructions are different:

  Sheet > Right-To-Left (add checkmark)

(P.S.: a capitalization style note - in the above menu you have "Right-To-Left"
but in Insert > Formatting Mark > Right-to-left mark, i.e. there is different
capitalization.)

2017-11-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113730

Bug ID: 113730
Summary: Arrow keys inverted in the "fuse cells" popup
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.7.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: trivial
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: diane.van-dorssel...@gadz.org

When cells that are not empty are fused, a popup window is displayed to ask the
user what to do with the content of the cells.

If the user tries to navigate between the three options with the arrow keys,
the "up" arrows sends them down and the "down" arrow sends them up!

This is a feature-not-bug - we do this to ensure the widest possible metric
compatibility and round-trip fidelity. If we save Liberation as Liberation -
then it will simply not be present on typical Windows machines - and as such
the user will get mangled metrics, and a broken display.

You can check out the substitutions in VCL.xcu in the source tree =) we have
lots of them, if some are missing - we should expand that.

Changing that would mean that a user can no longer set it to 0.05pt, which is
wrong as many tables have this set to this value.

Changing "lower" to 0.50 seems to work. I might be missing something?

I confirm the behaviour as mentioned by the bug reporter. I also confirm that
this ods file when open in MSO 2010 the last space is not shown.

But I am not sure whether this is a bug of LibreOffice or not.

Adding keyword implementationError, needsDevEval.

The ODF specification says:

Bundling open source fonts are being handled in bug 103080, but they wont
include any CJK fonts as they are too large (as mentioned in bug 80346 comment
9), so its important to offer them as a download at the download page.

Hopefully my proposal should solve the issue of fonts on linux quite easily.

LibreOffice 5.4.2-3 from Debian testing (buster) (details below) cannot
currently export or import XPS format documents.

The initial bug report talked explicitly about exporting not importing, so I've
changed the bug topic to mention that too. At my workplace we would like import
support only so I kept it in the topic.

The GNOME project libgxps is still available for applications that want to
support the XPS format.

Jay,

The width spin uses the GtkAdjustment 1 object properties. Adjust these values
to what you want.

borderpage.ui
6
7 0.050003
8 9
9 0.25
10 1
11

GtkAdjustment 2 is used by the padding spins
GtkAdjustment 3 is used by the distance spin

Creating and updating table styles is currently possible through the entries in
the sidebar, so the part that is missing is the modification of a table style
in a dialog, which will likely await a GSoC student to take up using the
proposal in comment 0.

The table border settings in Word 2013 and LO 5.4.2

1 Open attachment #137631
2, Observe that compared to Word, the table borders are much thicker and
different color.

This is because the line thickness is 0.75 points in Word and becomes 3 points
in Writer.
Also the line style changes as well, a much thicker one is chosen.
Line color changes from Automatic (black) to Grid color, which has a grey
shade.

This is a great idea, especially for CJK languages.

Currently If I send a ODF document created under linux to a windows user, the
content of the document is not showing exactly the same because I am using tge
only available open source fonts (e.g. Source Han Sans/Serif CJK), but the win
os does not have this font thus falling back to simsun.

It also important to bundle a Set of opensource font under linux, because
different destros installs different default CJK fonts by default. E.g., Fedora
uses Source Han Sans/Serif CJK (by Adobe), but Ubuntu promotes Nato Sans/serif
CJK (by Google). Although they are very similar, when share between different
OS the font will be not found and fallback to default.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113706] Moving focus to the record selector affects (toggles) a just edited check box (Yes/No type)

2017-11-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113706

I can only reproduce this the very first time that I select the checkbox and
move to the tuple header. I was unable to reproduce the strange behaviour in
subsequent select/deselect operations.

This is not a duplicate of bug 104321, but should be a duplicate of bug 63551.
Bug 104321 was fixed, but the format dialog delay is still reproducible on
master.
See my comments in bug 63551.

Yes, German is the Windows 10 OS setting, too.

However: A fresh install of the whole system (from scratch to Win 10 Pro Build
1709 = FCU) incl. new install of LibreOffice 5.4.2.2 and new user profiles does
not show this bug, anymore. I cannot it reproduce it under these circumstances,
anymore. Tested today. :-/

Before, it was a Creators Update release. LibreOffice had been updated multiple
times (installing latest version on top of existing version using the
installer) and at some point in time started to show that bug in that
environment.

The checkbox has always had 3 possible states in Base: unset (null), true, and
false. This might explain why the first click doesn't appear to change the
visual status of the checkbox.

This would be useful, and is in line with making Draw a better tool for
graphics work.

Believe since shape is a attribute of the draw object, it should be possible to
change it once instantiated--but the details of the conversion would be a
challenge.

Converting the shape, two facets that would have to be held constant would be
the center point and the scale/extents of the object--to hold relative position
on canvas.

Other attributes could be retained, or toggled to follow current tool settings
(e.g. area fill, border colors, text color & font, etc.).

The cells fomatting dialog takes some time before it appears. Under linux when
I run the build on master with dbgutil enabled, I see the following output:

fallback throwing away the language property of en because the detected script
for '0x9f3' is Bengali and that language doesn't make sense. Autodetecting

Apparently Calc is trying to detect the fonts to be used for the special chars
appears in the language list (and the cell format strings) within the "Numbers"
tab.

This is not a big issue anyway, but I am putting the above information on the
record just for FYI.

Actually there are many duplicate bug reports on this.

Put back to NEW.
