[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 32443] PASTE SPECIAL: Comments erases value
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32443 bugquestcon...@online.de changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED Resolution|INVALID |--- --- Comment #2 from bugquestcon...@online.de --- Since working with Calc (almost 2 year now) the described bug is really slowing down work because one first needs to copy the content of a target cell (for the comment) somewhere, copy and paste special the comment, and then cut and paste the original cell content. If the paste-special only comments works with out deleting the content of the target cells it saves a lot or work: 4 clicks plus 4 ctrl+key strokes. If this is a designed feature - I call it a bug - please inform where in the Help file this information (I could not find any information) can be found and I will place immediately an enhancement request. What can be done to speed up getting it assigned and getting a patch out there to fix it? It is forcing people to switch to alternative packages to LibreOffice. Some of us upgraded because of awful bugs in previous versions, so going back to older versions is not even really an option. Handout master contains number/count (Page number / Page count) which is supposed to give page numbering on the handouts: 1/2, 2/2. Works fine so far. I'm using 6 slides per page on the handout. When I hide slides 1-5 and print a handout (or select Range and copies - Slides 6-10 in the Print dialog), I expect to have one page of handout, thus numbered 1/1. Instead, I'm getting one page numbered 1/2. So the count is calculating the hidden (or not selected) slides though they will not be printed. Seems to work equally with 1 or 4 slides per handout. The system where this is running is a Debian Testing AMD64 Linux Distribution running KDE Destktop Environment 4.8.4. What happens is that after some random time that the Writer (have also seen it on Impress and much less commonly in Calc) shows the lines as in the picture attached. This has happened after both a graphics driver update and a system update. One way of reproducing the problem (I have seen it work anywhere from all times to being a one shot thing) is to do the following. Open Writer and a Document Open Kate or Kile (seemed to work more often with this). Open an existing file with Kate or Kile Save As (input another name) with Kate or Kile. When the operation is done what the writer shows should be corrupted in a way similar to the picture.
