The spreadsheet is based on a fairly ancient Excel sheet. I have a suspicion
that there is some old baggage around inside it (eg there are placeholders for
macros that no longer exist, but which cannot be deleted).

So I'm going to rebuild my spreadsheet from scratch by copying all the sheets
and then changing the links to be local.

I'll report here as soon I know whether this has made a difference.

--- Comment #8 from Pierre CARRET informati...@cwdsellier.com ---
Hi Jean-Baptiste,

No crash on my side under windows 7 Pro SP1 x64 when I uncheck the thousand
separator. I think you find an other issue :).
But I don't think the thousands separator is the problem.
As I said before the format # ##0,00 €;[RED]-# ##0,00 € saved by LO doesn't
display the result excpected. And this is the case for both LibreOffice and
Excel 2010.
This is because of the space before the € character. The format # ##0,00\
€;[RED]-# ##0,00\ € works as excepted on both.

Best regards.

I think i found a problem.

If you set a background-color of a cell in libreoffice you can't read the
actual RGB-Value with the line 'var=ActiveSheet.Cells(c, r).Interior.Color'.
It always returns an older value, not the actual.

But if you change the background value with 'ActiveSheet.Cells(c,
r).Interior.Color = RGB(r_val,g_val,b_val)' (actually works), you can read the
actual value.

And again, if you now try to read the BG-Color in the macro, you still read the
old color.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 78332] New: Manually inserted DDE link fails to update when file is reopened

2014-05-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78332

  Priority: medium
Bug ID: 78332
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: Manually inserted DDE link fails to update when file
is reopened
  Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
  Reporter: je...@yandex.ru
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: 4.2.3.3 release
 Component: Writer
   Product: LibreOffice

Created attachment 98548
  -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=98548action=edit
Two files: 1.ods and 2.odt. The content is taken from 1.ods and linked to
2.odt.

MANUALLY inserted DDE link fails to update when file is reopened.

What works: Link pasted by Paste Special - DDE link.
What does not work: DDE link that was inserted manually: Insert - Fields
- Other - Variables tab - DDE field type.
This one works only until you close the file. When you reopen it, the field
shows saved content from previous time and does not update itself on changes
anymore.

If you try to edit the field parameters by double-clicking, it shows: Not
available as status.

Latest known-working version: 4.1.5.3

Attached you can find two files. The content is taken from 1.ods and linked to
2.odt. DDE link was modified to work with relative path.

Ways to make it work until file is closed:
- #1: modify the link by retyping all its parameters (Application, File,
Category). When done the field updates its content and works until you close
the file.
- #2: modify the link, but leave all the parameters as is, without retyping
them, just put the cursor after Sheet1.A1 in Category and hit DELETE on
your keyboard. When done it works as expected until you close the file.

Exactly as descripbe in #1 - and no way I can see (having spent considerable

work-around as an interim measure while awaiting a fix. Thanks.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 77439] Changes for #77300 #75741 result in very slow changes to range names

2014-05-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77439

--- Comment #24 from t...@tim-passingham.co.uk ---
I copied all the sheets to a new ods, recreated all the pivot tables (since
they did not copy over). Many references were now links to the original as a
result, so I changed all those to be local to the new file.

The problem has now gone away.

So something in the sheet (and its derivative which I sent to Koshei) was
causing delays in some, but not all environments.

Since no one else seems to be able to reproduce this, I of course accept that
whatever the problem is, it is unlikely to be resolved, and will probably never
happen to anyone else, since it may be that the sheet itself is corrupt in some
way.

I've therefore closed this report as 'not a bug'.

I now have a working set of sheets, so am very happy :)

Thanks to all who have spent time on this. Apologies if some of it seems to
have been wasted.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 78336] New: BASIC: The Basic Dir() statement is broken under certain conditions

2014-05-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78336

  Priority: medium
Bug ID: 78336
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: BASIC: The Basic Dir() statement is broken under
certain conditions
  Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
  Reporter: ecand...@hotmail.com
  Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: 4.2.3.3 release
 Component: BASIC
   Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:

It appears that if the Dir() function in Basic hits any errors in accessing the
directory, the results returned can not be relied upon. The function does not
generate any errors back to the program and does not alert the user in any way.
If there are any file names still in the queue from a prior call to the Dir()
function, it will return those names. If not, it will return what appears as an
empty directory. This occurs in both Windows and Linux environments (see “Table
6: Result summary for Linux, Dir() function“ and “Table 9: Result summary for
Windows, Dir() function“ for screen shots, and 3.2.1, “Messages and debug
output“ for additional discussion).

Steps to reproduce:
1. Make call to Dir() for any path that would cause an error (e.g.
/tmp/NoSuchPath)
2. Dir() will return empty string or phantom file names depending on prior
calls to Dir() that succeeded.
3.

Current behavior:

Returns phantom file names in some cases.

Expected behavior:

Return no file names if directory not readable or accessible. Generating an
error would be nice, but might break too many existing macros.

I will upload a document with screen-shots and additional info./

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 78338] New: FILEOPEN: Attached drawing opened in old Libreoffice

2014-05-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78338

  Priority: medium
Bug ID: 78338
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: FILEOPEN: Attached drawing opened in old Libreoffice
  Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
  Reporter: m...@ellse.org
  Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: 4.2.3.3 release
 Component: Drawing
   Product: LibreOffice

Created attachment 98557
  -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=98557action=edit
LibreOfffice draw file

Problem description: Attached drawing does not open

Steps to reproduce:
1. Attempt to open attached drawing

Current behavior:
Libreoffice starts opening the drawing. The bar at the bottom grows and then
the programme crashes.

Expected behavior:
Drawing opens

Sorry, can't remember when crash started occurring. From memory I was using a
late version of LO3 when I last accessed these files. Not possible for me to
put earlier versions of LO on my computer while later versions of LO installed.
As A workaround I downloaded OpenOffice 3.2.1, which opens the file happily.

Operating System: Windows 8

This bug still occurs on branch 4.3 under Windows XP Pro x86 en_US SP3

I disagree that this is an enhancement. If it works properly for all other ODF
file formats but not for ODS then it is a bug.

Summary: graphite fonts change rendering when Nonprinting

  Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
  Reporter: mst...@redhat.com
  Hardware: Other
Status: NEW
   Version: Inherited From OOo
 Component: Writer
   Product: LibreOffice

for this bugdoc from bug 70666:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=87870

the rendering changes quite substantially when the Nonprinting Characters
button is pressed: letters disappear, and the diacritic marks below the
red letters disappear or move around.

the problem happens at least since OOo 3.2, got worse in LO 3.4 - LO 4.2,
and appears somewhat less bad on master (only diacritics disappear),
so i'm not sure to what extent this qualifies as a regression...

  Reporter: dw...@infradead.org

Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: 4.2.3.3 release
 Component: Libreoffice
   Product: LibreOffice

I would like to create an RPM package for our company's Fedora users which
contains a bunch of company document templates.

It looks like these need to live in /usr/lib64/libreoffice/share/ or
/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/ depending on whether it's a 64-bit or 32-bit
platform. Therefore I can't build an architecture-independent package; I have
to build architecture-specific packages. With identical content.

This makes me sad, and I think it probably violates the FHS. Isn't there a
place in /usr/share that I can put templates in? If not, please *could* there
be?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 77964] FILEOPEN: DOC Image Wrapped Optimal instead of No Wrap

2014-05-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77964

--- Comment #6 from Lubos Lunak l.lu...@collabora.com ---
Yes, it's 8f8b31abd02876c3601e343b8b3274754f8a61b6 . Setting TEXT_MIN_SMALL in
b/sw/source/core/text/txtfly.cxx to 1134 in practice reverts the commit, but
that breaks the document from that bugreport, and there's no value that'd work
for both.

The fix is admitedly a bit of a hack, but until somebody has a better look at
the issue, let's leave it this way. Clearly we want to be compatible with
MSOffice if we have to choose, let alone that this bugreport looks like merely
a made-up scenario rather than an actual problem.

A) Steps to take
1. Type various paragraphs
2. Assign H1, H2 styles to some paragraphs
3. Insert Table of Contents index
4. Right-click on entry in ToC and select Edit Paragraph Style... command from
context menu
5. In Paragraph Style dialog make a change and click Apply
6. Make another change and click Apply, such as 'undoing' the change just made
by selecting the previous option

B) What happens
After step 5 the change is applied as expected, after step 6 nothing happens.
One has to close the dialog, open it again, and then make the desired changes.
It is possible to make multiple changes and submit all by clicking Apply.

C) What should happen
After making a change and clicking Apply apply the currently selected settings.
Allow for repeating this as often as desired without having to close and reopen
the dialog

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 37534] [FORMATTING] Table of Contents does not apply Numbering followed by property

2014-05-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37534

Encountering this exact problem using Table of Content index using LO 4.1.5.3
The numbering within the document text looks fine using a tab stop, but the tab
stop is not inserted into the Table of Contents.
So far unsuccessful with having index ignore numbering in text and use its own
numbering which works fine.
Rather odd that this bug is apparently around for so long and left unfixed.

Tools/Autocorrect options/Replace tab then select language drop down menu and
scroll all the way up to enter the [All] database

The table is empty.

P.S. why did you put MinGW in the summary notes?

I didn't.

Of course, Microsoft Yahei is available on my OS.
