OOo3.3 behaves in the same way. Autosave does not result in this problem. I do not observe this problem in Impress While on the one hand this behavior can be easily explained, on the other hand I think that the situation should be handled in a more decent way, since a user may be confused and may regard this as an internal LO bug. It may easily happen that the user does not realize that this was caused by earlier deletion and subsequent saving. I see two possibilities how to handle this situation: - Change the Read error message by a clear explanation: The deleted image is no more available after saving. - Do not remove the deleted images from cache on saving. To repeat: 1 create an empty writer document 2 add an image 3 save the document 4 close LO 5 open the document 6 delete the image 7 save the document 8 hit CTRL-Z: Image is not restored, and Read error appears If steps 4 and 5 are skipped, the image is restored correctly -- milos -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86336] New: FILEOPEN Calc ignores custom template when opening csv file
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86336 Bug ID: 86336 Summary: FILEOPEN Calc ignores custom template when opening csv file Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Spreadsheet Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: bz...@florian-schmitt.net Current behaviour: Calc ignores a custom template set as default when opening a CSV file. Expected behaviour: When opening a CSV file and with a custom template set as default, Calc uses that custom template to display the csv file. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a custom calc template: a. Create a new Calc file; b. Modify the default style, e.g. set a different font; c. Save the file as template using menu File - Templates - Save as template 2. Set as default template: - Menu File - Templates - Manage, select your template, Set as default button. 3. Verify that Calc knows and applies the new default template: - Close and re-open Calc. The new file should use the custom style set in step 1.c. 4. Open a CSV file with Calc. Calc won't use the custom style set in step 1.c. - Problem! There are some workarounds (see http://superuser.com/questions/302107/how-to-set-the-default-font-in-libreoffice-calc/302133#302133 at the end), but it would be nice if Calc would apply custom templates in a consistent way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 80583] EDITING: Analysis of Variance (ANOVA): DEVSQ returns Err:508, while direct DEVSQ formula returns correct result
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80583 Mirosław Zalewski mini...@poczta.onet.pl changed: What|Removed |Added CC||mini...@poczta.onet.pl --- Comment #12 from Mirosław Zalewski mini...@poczta.onet.pl --- Few code pointers for those interested. Fixing this should be easy enough for people with basic knowledge of C++ (not me, unfortunately). sc/source/ui/StatisticsDialogs/AnalysisOfVarianceDialog.cxx : Total Sum of Squares in one factor ANOVA is constructed by using applyRangeList method (line 324). Withing groups sum of squares is constructed by using lclCreateMultiParameterFormula() function (line 296), and between groups sum of squares has semicolon hardcoded (line 251). When output is written to spreadsheet, it's formula grammar is explicitly set to English (line 549). But applyRangeList method, defined in sc/source/ui/StatisticsDialogs/TableFillingAndNavigationTools.cxx line 65, uses mpDoc-GetAddressConvention() to format formula according to local grammar (I assume). This means that all formulas constructed using applyRangeList will return syntax error when local grammar is not compatible with English grammar. This affects only Total sum of squares of one factor ANOVA, but similar artifacts may be present in other statistical functions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

This may be desired by the user or not, personally I would prefer my window at least not to become smaller than before. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 85714] Single Page Printing in LibreOffice
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85714 --- Comment #6 from Frank fobe...@enteract.com --- You are using Ubuntu 14.10 so maybe, as Andy suggested, the Linux version is a contributing factor - if so, perhaps 14.10 is just smarter and doesn't display an unrequested Current Page element. Of course, you're also using a later Alpha version of LibreOffice, so its hard to tell. For me at least, removing the button just hides the problem rather than fixing it, as the ability to select the current page seems like a pretty fundamental capability. I usually only use the LTS (Long Term Support) versions of Ubuntu, though, so have no plans to update to 14.10 and won't be able to confirm this. But - the inability to select the current page is merely an annoyance - the fact that Writer ignores any request to print double-sided is (it seems to me) a rather embarassing bug that could only have been introduced rather recently. Such a feature effectively renders any additional expense of acquiring a double-sided printer a waste. As I said, though, even when it did work from Writer, it didn't seem to understand how to handle short-edge margins correctly when printing double-sided (most such printers need a little extra non-printing space to grab the printer while flipping the paper), so I've gotten in the habit of exporting to pdf and then printing from a pdf reader (Okular and Adobe both handle such things correctly as far as I can tell). But - just in case - I reconfirmed the points I made in my earlier postings (Comments 2 and 3). Adding something in I5 increases the result (in LO 4) -result in cel A5 aplies clearly to the absence of cell(s) with content to the right of cell E11 -result in cell A7 may be 0 because the name a (Insert-Names-Manage...) was not defined to be cells C22-C24. I don't know if named ranges were supported in OOo3.2. Apart from the result in cell A7, the results are identical in OOo3.2 and LO4, i.e. I see no regression. Possibly the reason behind the difference between numerical and textual cells is that in this example: COLA COLB COLC RONE 123 RTWO 456 COLA, COLB, RONE and RTWO are all recognized as labels, where COLA is recognized as a label for (1,4) and not for (COLB,COLC) and RONE is recognized as a label for (1,2,3) and not for RTWO. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48606] : Property Open file read-only of new Document is not Saved
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48606 Beluga todven...@suomi24.fi changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||todven...@suomi24.fi Ever confirmed|0 |1 Severity|normal |minor --- Comment #8 from Beluga todven...@suomi24.fi --- (In reply to Harald Koester from comment #5) Preparations: (1) Start LO and make sure that the Option “Load/Save General Edit document properties before saving” is unchecked. (2) Create a text document and make sure that the file property “Open file read-only” is no set. (3) Insert some text. Save and close document (Untitled 1.odt). Go on with: (4) Copy “Untitled 1.odt” to “test.odt”. (5) Open “test.odt” and change the text a little. (6) Set file property “Open file read-only”. Then OK. (7) Save document with “File Save as...”. I did not change file name (test.odt). (8) Close document. (9) Reopen document. File is opened in “Edit Mode”. Here I expect, that the document is opened in “Read-only mode” !!! Repeat the test beginning with step (4). But now save the file with “File Save” in step (7). At step (9) the file is opened in “Read-Only mode” as expected. Reproduced. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86344] New: Add pissibility to have two or more different currency toolbar buttons in calc
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86344 Bug ID: 86344 Summary: Add pissibility to have two or more different currency toolbar buttons in calc Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Spreadsheet Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: libreoff...@miho.im For people that don't have € or $ as their currency, and for those that work with other countries it's good to have more then 1 currency option in toolbar. I usally work with croatian kuna (kn) which is my default since my LibreOffice UI is in croatian, but I use a lot of € caluculations. When I want to format something to kn it's easy, just press toolbar button. But when I want to format something to €, then right click format cell currency find german standard EUR € OK. I tried to add that same € formatting to toolbar, but I find it impossible without some serius coding skills. My suggestion is to enable users to have more currency buttons then just default currency in their Calc toolbars. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
