[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 102825] Wish table lines have different style
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102825 --- Comment #1 from Aravind G--- 2. Similarly it would helpful if the grouped columns "and/or" rows with in a table have the same style/colour and the next group have different. 3. this colourful feature can be used in "writer," calc and impress. 4. This feature helps to highlight certain portions even in grayscale. Useful for designing specific forms, reports, etc. . 5. Fill colour/shade enhances the effect , But keeping minimum cells/rows/columns is more beautiful. If lines can have different styles filling can be reduced to minimum cells/rows/columns for extra enhancement. So More Informative and beautiful table. 6. good for economical printing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101694 --- Comment #8 from bordma...@gmail.com --- For me F9 and ctrl shift F9 did not work. But I got another hint: it seems to be Sum related. I have a list of products with their prices and the total sum of the order, from which sum are derived some percentages (freight, bank, import expenses) that are applied back in formulas on each product row, resulting the minimal selling price. I changed some quantities in that sheet and wondered at the weird results: the sum did not actuate from the old value, throwing off the calculations, but the formulas did change on the fly.F9 did not work, CTRL Shift F9 did not work. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 102615] UI: Have Find Bar (Ctrl+F) and Find & Replace (Ctrl+H) search Values by default
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102615 --- Comment #6 from brucehohl--- More comments (as I do searches very often): (1) Although my original enhancement request was for Ctrl+F and Ctrl+H to find Values by default and the informal survey supports that approach, I equally agree with the logic of having a default search for all (Values, Formulas and Comments). As stated that would simply cover all search cases. (2) Keeping the default search type the same for Ctrl+F and Ctrl+H provides consistency. (3) For Ctrl+H changing the default search choices would be easier if: (a) Other Options were always displayed. The Find Bar already provides slim search tool. (b) Instead of a selection list, check boxes where used for Values, Formulas, Comments. This is more flexible as the user could select more than one choice. Reconsidered layout of Find & Replace might be in order as well. (4) For Find Bar (Ctrl+F) the I suggest the English label "Formatted Display" should be changed to "As Formatted". (I had to check the release notes to determine the purpose of that check box.) (5) I like the idea of user control over the persistence of the Ctrl+H choices. This could be accomplished by (a) saving ALL choices to the user profile or (b) the suggestion stated elsewhere of an Expert Config option to change the default search type (and perhaps other search settings such as Columns instead of Rows). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 101437] UI: Shifted keyboard input deletes "click references" in formula input field (split/other window scenario only)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101437 --- Comment #9 from Rickard Westman--- I realize Ubuntu 14.04 is a bit old at this point, and that my OS installation has accumulated quite a few tweaks and customizations over time. So just in case something important was weird/unusual with my OS installation, I retested it on a fresh Ubuntu 16.04 installation before doing any tweaks/customizations at all (except adding the libreoffice PPA to get a new enough version - the standard one under Ubuntu 16.04 did *not* have the problem). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 102836] New: Please add "Make default" option for "Page Setting" to make user setting default
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102836 Bug ID: 102836 Summary: Please add "Make default" option for "Page Setting" to make user setting default Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.2.2.2 rc Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: yousifjka...@yahoo.com Hi. Recently (2 months ago), I shifted almost from Windows OS to Linux Fedora. For that I'm depending now on LibreOffice for much greater extent. Now, I'm suffering from very annoying issue: I prefer to use page setting: empty margins at periphery of page as following: - left: 3 cm - right 3 cm - up 2.3 cm - down 2.3 cm By default, LibreOffice use different setting which is 2 cm for all. This is not problem by itself, but problem is that LibreOffice has no option to make user custom setting a default setting !! In this case I have to set my values every time I created a new document !! This is very annoying !! In microsoft office there is option in "page setting" called "Make Default" when clicked it will make user custom setting the default setting for all newly created documents. Please, please add this option to LibreOffice not only in writer but in any other components where it is appropriate to add it, like impress. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101928 --- Comment #5 from F. Gerken--- Well thank you so far. I didn't mean bug 41981 but if that one would be fixed I could solve the problem myself by just re-adding the shortcuts. On the German keyboard layout it is a standard feature to insert the €-symbol by pressing CTRL+ALT+E, the @-symbol by pressing CTRL+ALT+Q, ~ by pressing CTRL+ALT++ and so on, and it works in every application or program where you can type in things, like in browsers and even cheap computer games. LibreOffice is the first program I know where it doesn't work and it also doesn't help if I change the keyboard layout to another language. Hope I could help finding the problem. So, for > example, an uppercase 'A' clears the cell reference, while a lower-case 'a' > does not. > > In fact, just pressing the shift key and releasing it afterwards triggers > the problem for subsequent input, whether it's shifted or not. The control > key and "winmenu" key also triggers the problem, whereas the AltGr key does > not. I experimented with the shift key, but did not see the problem. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 102835] New: Feature request: Endnote by chapter near end of document.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102835 Bug ID: 102835 Summary: Feature request: Endnote by chapter near end of document. Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: formfeed+b...@gmail.com Created attachment 127727 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=127727=edit example output Books in the humanities often have footnotes (or endnotes) near the end of the book, but restart the numbering by chapter. I write "near end", because often index, bibliography, author-remarks follow these notes (see attached example). One solution would be to allow endnotes numbering to restart. This would not solve the notes-*near*-the-end-problem, or add a way to have chapter headlines between chapter notes. But both of these problems have hacks, not pretty, but would work till a more satisfying change could be implemeted. A possibly better solution might be to add an option to add footnotes "at footnote-anchor". By default this anchor could be at end of the chapter, but the user could move the anchors towards "near" the end, add chapter headers and or separators in between, and text afterwards. I marked this feature request "normal" since it only matters for a subset of writer users. But for these users the feature is critical. I had to switch away from (then) staroffice for a book editing project because of this. Related: https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/70590/grouping-endnotes-by-chapter/ https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/1456/is-it-possible-to-number-endnotes-by-chapter/ http://www.libreoffice-forum.de/viewtopic.php?t=14784 Depending on the possible solution, these feature requests might be affected: 97675 35474 55436 52048 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
