[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 58944] FILEOPEN particular .docx wrongly shows lots of table heading rows to be repeated.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58944 --- Comment #9 from Mark Hung--- Extract the document.xml from the test document, examine the file we can see that for all the rows were set, this matches description of Comment 9 of issue 88496, quoted below: "What WORD seems to do in the same situation: as soon as recognise that the headers line dose not fit on the page portion reserved for table, it consider the table as with-no-header, even if in the definition this stays in place. This rise a big problem: in WORD => v.2007 for the user is very easy to define a table with, say, 50 rows all in the header (just select full table and click one button on the ribbon). WORD will disregard this config and render the table as with no header at all. Pass this DOC at WRITER: table render will disrupt." The UI does not match this new setting. It's also inconsistent, as the text is centered in Draw and Impress. Steps to Reproduce: In a recent build of LibreOffice 5.4 1. Insert Shape->Basic-> Rectangle or Ellipse 2. Type some text Expected Result: Text is centered Actual Results: Text is middle-left aligned. If you go to Format -> Text Box -> Text Attribute -> Text Anchor The UI shows centered. This is wrong. If you change it, Hit OK, Go back and change it to centered the text will move to the center position where it belongs. A minimal fix to this bug is to make the UI match the positioning. A better fix would be change the default text position to centered like it is in earlier versions of LibreOffice such as 4.4. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the attached documents or open another Writer document with several pages. 2. Go to Page Preview. 3. Select some pages in rows and columns (e.g. "3 x 3 Pages"). 4. Move the cursor to a page on the right of Page Preview area - regardless of whether it's in the first row or in a row below. 5. Zoom in with CTRL + mouse wheel. Actual result: The Page preview view goes to the first page or the first page in a row below instead of the page on the right. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106498 Bug ID: 106498 Summary: incorrect drawing of vertical bars in abs{x} Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.3.1.2 rc Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: Formula Editor Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: atzem...@gmail.com Created attachment 131816 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=131816=edit example of different display of abs{x} in 5.2.5 vs. 5.3 Before version 5.3, the equation editor always worked fine for me. With 5.3, however, it seems any formula containing abs{x} (and possibly other expressions) is displayed incorrectly. From what I see, it would appear that only the upper parts of the vertical lines are drawn, or that the lines have moved up. Saving a file with an equation containing abs{x} in 5.3 and then opening the file in an earlier version results in the exact same incorrect representation. However, opening the equation with abs{x} with the equation editor of the earlier version fixes the problem. Likewise, a file with abs{x} created in an earlier version of LO displays correctly in 5.3 until the equation with abs{x} is opened with the equation editor of version 5.3, after which abs{x} is displayed incorrectly again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 106496] New: The document in Writer is jumping left and right in optimal view and mirrored pages format
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106496 Bug ID: 106496 Summary: The document in Writer is jumping left and right in optimal view and mirrored pages format Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.2.6.2 release Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: k...@mail.orbitel.bg I am using some technical documents where pages are formatted as mirrored. Also in order to make possible to read more than one document while creating my document I need to keep the LibreOffice window small in order to see both documents together. In this case I use the View → Zoom → Optimal View. Unfortunately in such case the document is jumping left and right in the Writer window, depend of the paragraphs I am working with. Also by scrolling the multi page documents right pages are visualized normally but the left pages are visualized wrongly - some part of the text on the left part of the pages is not visible. This can be changed manually but after every right page the left page is presented the same wrong way. This way working with LibreOffice Writer with such documents soon becomes very boring and very uncomfortable. This bug is available in most past versions of LibreOffice including the current 5.2.6 Please possibly correct this behaviour because working with such documents is very difficult with LibreOffice Writer. I have created a screen cast movie showing this behaviour but it is 29.2 MiB hence it is not possible to attach it here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

For those wanting to try this out, it is probably much simpler to reproduce the bug in an empty document than by downloading the file: the file is empty except for a formula in the A1 cell which reads "=A2" (unquoted, of course). Upon editing the formula, adding any character to it will remove the color from the A2 reference. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
