Hard to reproduce (the version that was deleted had been created a few years
ago with an older version of the software), but I've noticed this asymmetry:
When you create a version, the document is saved immediately (automatically),
but when your delete a version, the change notifier is not set, so when closing
the document, nothing is saved (i.e.: there is no prompt for saving).

These is just a sequence of blocks connected with arrows, it is visible on
preview.

30 seconds — try it on something slower :) It takes about 5-7 minutes on NUC to
load, while 300 pages long documents takes around 20 seconds to load.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 93433] incomplete display of long autocorrect list in the replacement table and possible data loss when saving

2017-11-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93433

I know it diplays the list in a single huge line.
but according to my tests, if I edit the .xml file adding an entry which is not
in alphabetic order and then load the file in LibO, it will be shown in correct
alphabetic order and then if I add in the GUI a new entry and save it, then the
whole .xml will be processed by LibO and saved in correct alphabetic order.

so if I reopen the .xml in a text editor the initial "out of place" entry will
be now in correct place even in the text editor.

so please, add a new entry in LibO replacement table then send your .dat file
to me at my email ba...@quipo.it
I'll do myself the inspection of the .xml file.

another question... how finnish grammar works? in your language is correct to
show "ø" after "z" entries?

In italian all symbols are shown before "a" not after "z".

Bibisected using repo bibisect-43max.

Maybe someone could verify if this is indeed the first commit where things stop
working, i.e. the end of the text is truncated (the commit in the repo is

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113797] New: Label field' s property name mismatch in dialog editor and macro code

2017-11-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113797

Bug ID: 113797
Summary: Label field's property name mismatch in dialog editor
and macro code
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.4.3.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: jzo...@gmail.com

Description:
I have a dialog with a Label field element.
The dialog editor lists a property named "Label" under the General tab for this
element.
If I set the "Label" property in the dialog editor, it works as expected (sets
the text of the label on the form).
If I try to set the "Label" property with a macro, it fails with an error.

The macro works as expected using the "Text" property instead of "Label"
property (see Additional Information), so it is likely just a naming/UI issue.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a dialog with a "Label field" named "MyLabel"
2. Create a macro accessing its "Label" property

DialogLibraries.LoadLibrary("Standard")
dialog = CreateUnoDialog(DialogLibraries.Standard.MyDialog)
myLabel = dialog.GetControl("MyLabel")
myLabel.Label = "some text"
dialog.Execute

3. Run the macro

Actual Results:
Error message:
BASIC runtime error.
Property or method not found: Label.

Expected Results:
The dialog pops up with the label "some text"

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The following macro code works:
myLabel.Text = "some text"

I haven't tried with version 4.3.7.2, but the saved file is already truncated
in 4.3.0.4 when reopened (it's basically the same issue, just back then the
parser silently stopped after similar errors, the error message was added
afterwards), however with 4.2.0.4 saving and reopening works fine.

Video of visual appearance crash

There is a visual appearance problem with the LibreOffice and KDE since these
last versions, I don’t know which version accurately but I’ve recorded my
screen when it happens, when you select right-to-left sheet in the spreadsheet
application and try to edit a cell then you see cell rendering is ruined.
You can see the video here: https://youtu.be/dXIeFxeYKis and in the attached
file
I appreciate if you take a look, its 57 seconds.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113795] New: Replace Open Sans with Noto Sans in bundled templates

2017-11-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113795

Bug ID: 113795
Summary: Replace Open Sans with Noto Sans in bundled templates
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.0.0.0.alpha1+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: philip...@hotmail.com
CC: f...@libreoffice.org, jumbo4...@yahoo.fr,
tietze.he...@gmail.com
Blocks: 103314

Adolfo suggested that we replace the Open Sans font in all of the bundled
impress templates with Noto Sans, now that it is being bundled by default. This
would be beneficial as we would like to stop bundling Open Sans (bug 103080).

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113536] CSV import dialogue confusing in respect to text delimiters

2017-11-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113536

I think changing the labels (.ui strings?) would be a great help.
Possibly try some consistency. I also suspect the wording used is interpreted
differently in different regions.

The save as CSV dialogue uses "Field Delimiter" and "Text Delimiter"
The check box further down states "Quote all text cells"

If I looked at this language I would suggest changing "Text Delimiter" to "Text
Quote" or "Quote character" so it is clear it is the character for ""Quote all
text cells".

Now looking at the import dialogue
We talk about separators. Should the export be re-visited and "Field Delimiter"
renamed "Field Separator", and on the import "Merge delimiters" > "Merge
separators".

Looking now at "Text Delimiter" on the import.
If I have a string in the file [cat "feline" "1234"] as a field between
separators, what does the user think the setting "Text Delimiter" does when set
to '"'.
A suggestion here is "Text field quotes" or "Text field quotemarks", but where
I am everyone knows quotes implies " or ' at the beginning and end of a string
and this might not be general in world terms.

If I have it right, "Quoted field as text" is more accurately "Format quoted
field as text" as opposed to Number/General

I just realised that 5.3.6.1 was in fact not the newest version. That's strange
because the automatic update of my previous 5.2 version redirected me directly
to downloading 5.3.6.1.

I now installed 5.3.7.2 and the issue is gone.
(I might also add that the fonts look a lot better again than they did in the
5.3.6.1 version.)

So never mind!

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113793] New: Calc failed to sort by columns when marked range has empty rows

2017-11-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113793

Bug ID: 113793
Summary: Calc failed to sort by columns when marked range has
empty rows
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.1.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: hafner.peterh...@t-online.de

Description:
I marked some range like (for example) H1:V50 which included occasional empty
rows (but the head row H1:V1 always had data) and wanted to have it sorted by
column. I navigated via menu and submenu and issued the sort command through a
popup dialog by mouse.

Reference:
crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/9532106c-f9a8-41ad-adc2-6ddfb7449c58

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter strings (rotate:90 degrees for compactness) in first row
2. enter sparse numbers in only a few of the cells
3. mark a sub-range of that table including the top row: a range not starting
in col.A but further to the right and including only a few dozen rows down, not
all
4. try to sort this sub-range BY COLUMN 1

E.g. mark range E1:J25 where E1:J25 is filled with string data and few other
cells of E2:J25 have numeric data, then sort by column.

Actual Results:
crash (see description)

Expected Results:
(no crashing of the program?) (whatever error message would have been better
than just a crash, at least to avoid that in future)

Reproducible: Didn't try

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113792] New: AutoCorrect doesn' t initiate when navigating with cursor navigation controls

2017-11-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113792

Bug ID: 113792
Summary: AutoCorrect doesn't initiate when navigating with
cursor navigation controls
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: framework
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: yetooha...@gmail.com

Description:
When misspelling a word, pressing enter, space, or typing on an already created
line initiates the AutoCorrect, but when navigating with the cursor via cursor
navigation controls AutoCorrect doesn't do anything. It would be helpful if the
cursor navigation controls could initiate the AutoCorrect as there are more key
presses and/or clicks/hand movement to get to the misspelled word to open up
the context menu or to correct it because to even view the misspelled word an
enter, space, or typing on an already created line is required.

An example where the lack of this feature becomes irritating is if there are
three newlines created and text is typed on on the first line. A misspelled
word is typed on the second line but one wants to navigate to the third line.
When they navigate below to the last line they begin typing but find that their
word on the line above is incorrect and they have to use the cursor navigation
controls to get back to the word and correct it.

While it is true that the user could use the up arrow or any other control to
move back to that line, the fact that the AutoCorrect isn't telling the user
what is wrong when the user does a subsequent cursor control action is a bit
misleading.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable AutoCorrect.
2. Misspell a word with new line space above or below it.
3. Move the cursor around.

Actual Results:
The misspelled word is not underlined red.

Expected Results:
the misspelled word should be underlined with red.

Reproducible: Always

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113790] New: 'SAXParseException: Attribute w:cstheme redefined' error upon certain changes to a DOCX

2017-11-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113790

Bug ID: 113790
   Summary: 'SAXParseException: Attribute w:cstheme redefined'
error upon certain changes to a DOCX
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.4.3.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: critical
  Priority: medium
 Component: filters and storage
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ba...@caesar.elte.hu
Blocks: 104448

Created attachment 137703
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=137703=edit
Sample DOCX

I received a file that gave the same error message upon opening as bug 102929
(that error is also mentioned in bug 92731):
'SAXParseException: [word/document.xml line 2]: Attribute w:cstheme redefined.'

The erroneous element looked like this:

After removing the duplicate attribute from the file manually, the document
could be opened. I copied the relevant part of the text to a new document,
simplified it, and managed to get the followiing repro case:
- Open the attached sample document.
- Copy the bulleted entry "ABCD", and paste it somewhere else, eg. above
"Title3".
- Save as a different DOCX, and reopen it.

=> You get the error/exception mentioned above.

Reproduced using LO 6.0 daily build (2017-11-06_23:18:19,
a5af0fd9f27af42cf2e8571f659cdad6e606215b), 5.4.3.2 / Windows 7.

Note that the sample file, as well as the fixed original contains a couple of
instances of the following OOXML validation error (no idea if it's related,
Word and Writer opens the documents fine):
NumberingSymbolRunProperties/word/numbering.xml
/w:numbering[1]/w:abstractNum[1]/w:lvl[1]/w:rPr[1] RunFontsThe
element has unexpected child element

Heiko, please take into account that we’ve added colons to hundreds of labels
on the basis that they were recommended in the GNOME 2.x guidelines in bug
78826. L10n bushed back vigorously against mass-changing strings, and to this
day we can’t make the consistent without affecting millions of translations
(Mozilla’s tools, on the contrary, allow for these changes).

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 52598] Writer ignores original picture pixel density in .jpg files, and uses 120 dpi (refer comment 19)

2017-11-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52598

In a previous comment I stated that the information is in the EXIF headers,
this is a mistake, the information is in the standard JPEG headers.

I've uploaded two IrFanView information headers. The difference between the two
is the dpi setting in the header, nothing else. That information is used to
calculate the print size in cm / inch. It seems that Writer isn't (always)
capable to read the dpi setting from the header, and it then replaces the dpi
setting by the dpi of the screen. This results in a completely wrong size of
the picture in the Writer document. Adjusting the size in Writer results in
resampling the picture, and using the wrong, mostly lower, dpi setting.

It's very simple, anyone who is able to understand the way jpg and other
graphic files are handled in Writer, can understand this,

Please fix this problem!!

The order can be changed only by software like LibreOffice that parses the XML
structure and does things based on it. A text editor will always display it in
the original form (most of it in one huge line).

Attaching a clip from current 2017-11-11 master, Windows 10 system with Symbola
and Code2000 fonts installed.

In attachment 129100 on Windows 8/8.1/10 builds, font fall back for Liberation
Serif picks up Segoe UI Symbol for the 'n' (U+006e) inside a combining circle
(U+20dd), with combining superscript e (U+0364)--but then looses its placement
and actual glyph to stamp.

Don't know if this is a DirectWrite implementation issue, but is handling the
result of font fallback to perform the glyph combining getting lost between
D2DWriteTextOutRenderer and ExTextOutRenderer?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 103273] LibreOffice does not understand the resolution information of Photoshop Elements files

2017-11-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103273

I have added two information windows of IrFanView, showing detailed information
about a jpg picture. The difference between the two is the the dpi setting, and
the resulting change in print size in cm / inch. The picture itself wasn't
changed at all, just the dpi setting. The problem is that Writer doesn't always
understand the dpi setting, and replaces it by the dpi setting of the screen,
resulting in a picture with the wrong size in the document. Changing the size
of the picture in Writer will result in a low resolution picture, and that is
not the intention.

Unfortunately these attributes are not optional. So they indeed needs to be
written. LibreOffice needs to wait till ODF 1.3 before they can be removed.

Let's turn this into a easy hack. The code is here:
oox/source/ole/axcontrol.cxx
Check AxCommandButtonModel class.
Also might need to check the activex documentation:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/cc313125(v=office.12).aspx

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113787] cli_oootypes.config is wrong

2017-11-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113787

After manually fixing this in my installation, there is another problem with
the assembly versions: I have also referenced version 1.0.22.0 of
cli_cppuhelper.dll, which is redirected by cli_cppuhelper.config to 1.0.23.0.

However, the version of cli_cppuhelper.dll that is actually installed by LO
5.4.3 has version number 0.0.0.0, so version 1.0.23.0 cannot be found as well.

Do not use File > Open, but start with a document and then use Insert > Image.

The File > Open import filter will not be improved, but will be replaced with
the filter currently used for Insert > Image. But I cannot tell what state the
tender (see URL) has.
