https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113797 Bug ID: 113797 Summary: Label field's property name mismatch in dialog editor and macro code Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.4.3.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: jzo...@gmail.com Description: I have a dialog with a Label field element. The dialog editor lists a property named "Label" under the General tab for this element. If I set the "Label" property in the dialog editor, it works as expected (sets the text of the label on the form). If I try to set the "Label" property with a macro, it fails with an error. The macro works as expected using the "Text" property instead of "Label" property (see Additional Information), so it is likely just a naming/UI issue. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a dialog with a "Label field" named "MyLabel" 2. Create a macro accessing its "Label" property DialogLibraries.LoadLibrary("Standard") dialog = CreateUnoDialog(DialogLibraries.Standard.MyDialog) myLabel = dialog.GetControl("MyLabel") myLabel.Label = "some text" dialog.Execute 3. Run the macro Actual Results: Error message: BASIC runtime error. Property or method not found: Label. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113536] CSV import dialogue confusing in respect to text delimiters
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113536 --- Comment #12 from Steve Edmonds--- I think changing the labels (.ui strings?) would be a great help. Possibly try some consistency. I also suspect the wording used is interpreted differently in different regions. The save as CSV dialogue uses "Field Delimiter" and "Text Delimiter" The check box further down states "Quote all text cells" If I looked at this language I would suggest changing "Text Delimiter" to "Text Quote" or "Quote character" so it is clear it is the character for ""Quote all text cells". Now looking at the import dialogue We talk about separators. Should the export be re-visited and "Field Delimiter" renamed "Field Separator", and on the import "Merge delimiters" > "Merge separators". Looking now at "Text Delimiter" on the import. If I have a string in the file [cat "feline" "1234"] as a field between separators, what does the user think the setting "Text Delimiter" does when set to '"'. A suggestion here is "Text field quotes" or "Text field quotemarks", but where I am everyone knows quotes implies " or ' at the beginning and end of a string and this might not be general in world terms. If I have it right, "Quoted field as text" is more accurately "Format quoted field as text" as opposed to Number/General -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I navigated via menu and submenu and issued the sort command through a popup dialog by mouse. Reference: crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/9532106c-f9a8-41ad-adc2-6ddfb7449c58 Steps to Reproduce: 1. enter strings (rotate:90 degrees for compactness) in first row 2. enter sparse numbers in only a few of the cells 3. mark a sub-range of that table including the top row: a range not starting in col.A but further to the right and including only a few dozen rows down, not all 4. try to sort this sub-range BY COLUMN 1 E.g. mark range E1:J25 where E1:J25 is filled with string data and few other cells of E2:J25 have numeric data, then sort by column. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113792] New: AutoCorrect doesn' t initiate when navigating with cursor navigation controls
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113792 Bug ID: 113792 Summary: AutoCorrect doesn't initiate when navigating with cursor navigation controls Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: framework Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: yetooha...@gmail.com Description: When misspelling a word, pressing enter, space, or typing on an already created line initiates the AutoCorrect, but when navigating with the cursor via cursor navigation controls AutoCorrect doesn't do anything. It would be helpful if the cursor navigation controls could initiate the AutoCorrect as there are more key presses and/or clicks/hand movement to get to the misspelled word to open up the context menu or to correct it because to even view the misspelled word an enter, space, or typing on an already created line is required. An example where the lack of this feature becomes irritating is if there are three newlines created and text is typed on on the first line. A misspelled word is typed on the second line but one wants to navigate to the third line. When they navigate below to the last line they begin typing but find that their word on the line above is incorrect and they have to use the cursor navigation controls to get back to the word and correct it. While it is true that the user could use the up arrow or any other control to move back to that line, the fact that the AutoCorrect isn't telling the user what is wrong when the user does a subsequent cursor control action is a bit misleading. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable AutoCorrect. 2. Misspell a word with new line space above or below it. 3. Move the cursor around. Actual Results: The misspelled word is not underlined red. Expected Results: the misspelled word should be underlined with red. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 52598] Writer ignores original picture pixel density in .jpg files, and uses 120 dpi (refer comment 19)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52598 --- Comment #29 from Dirk Munk--- In a previous comment I stated that the information is in the EXIF headers, this is a mistake, the information is in the standard JPEG headers. I've uploaded two IrFanView information headers. The difference between the two is the dpi setting in the header, nothing else. That information is used to calculate the print size in cm / inch. It seems that Writer isn't (always) capable to read the dpi setting from the header, and it then replaces the dpi setting by the dpi of the screen. This results in a completely wrong size of the picture in the Writer document. Adjusting the size in Writer results in resampling the picture, and using the wrong, mostly lower, dpi setting. It's very simple, anyone who is able to understand the way jpg and other graphic files are handled in Writer, can understand this, Please fix this problem!! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103273 --- Comment #15 from Dirk Munk--- I have added two information windows of IrFanView, showing detailed information about a jpg picture. The difference between the two is the the dpi setting, and the resulting change in print size in cm / inch. The picture itself wasn't changed at all, just the dpi setting. The problem is that Writer doesn't always understand the dpi setting, and replaces it by the dpi setting of the screen, resulting in a picture with the wrong size in the document.
