https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117700 Bug ID: 117700 Summary: .html to .odt conversion (headless) sets asymmetrical margins Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.3.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: jonas@thiem.email Description: .html to .odt conversion (headless) sets asymmetrical, strange page margins. I'm not sure where it gets those from, but the original index.html doesn't have them so it seems like a bug. I attached the index.html that triggers this. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download the attached index.html 2. Convert it: soffice --convert-to odt 'index.html' --headless --outdir . 3. Open the resulting .odt file and observe asymmetrical page margins Actual Results: weird small and asymmetrical margins (much larger on the left side than all others) Expected Results: symmetric margins, ideally the default page margins (since the HTML doesn't actually specify any special margins on the body or html elements) Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102995 --- Comment #2 from QA Administrators--- ** Please read this message in its entirety before responding ** To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117682] LibreOffice Writer crashes saving .ott when changing a letter wizard template
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117682 --- Comment #3 from skierpage--- I upgraded to 6.0.4.2 and wasn't able to reproduce. (In reply to skierpage from comment #1) > I noticed that on the last step of the wizard there's a Location and file > name field pre-filled with a grayed out > "C:\users\spage\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user\template\my (can't read > the rest, maybe myLetter.ott?). I have a LibreOffice\4\user directory, but > it has no "template" subdirectory. At some point in my testing the Location and file name field had changed to C:\Users\spage\Documents\temp\myLetter.ott (the path seems to update depending on where you last saved a template). I tried renaming this directory so the path didn't exist, and still no crash with 6.0.4. I don't know what else I changed, so maybe something in 6.0.3 or 6.0.4 addressed this bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I did so, then the first thing I did was check if I had the latest version. Check for Updates didn't look or operate right. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install new version 2. Start LibreOffice (the hub, not a particular app) 3. From the window of recent documents, choose Help > Check for Updates Actual Results: Check for Updates window appeared, displaying Checking..., a spinner, %PERCENT% and with all buttons clickable (attachment coming). It never progressed from this. Expected Results: Check for Updates should have worked normally, there was nothing special apart from this being my first action with the new build. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I quit LibreOffice, then restarted it and chose Check for Updates again. This time after a split-second seeing the spinner, the expected "LibreOffice 6.0 is up to date" appeared with buttons appropriately deactivated. I hope someone else can try this as the very first thing after installing an update. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117534] Formula editor font handling regression from recent work on salfont and winlayout
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117534 --- Comment #3 from V Stuart Foote--- Font fallback seems to be affecting more of the Expressions Sidebar's pannels, moving between the panels--initially correct on launch, moving between the pannels eventuall a cache is flushed and the font fallback is wrong. The example grids are getting weird metric so the grid entry is a single column and font fallback is failing so neither Open Symbol nor Liberation Serif are getting good glyphs and show "missing glyph" boxes. It also affects the formula pane on refresh. Loss of fallback font affecting both OpenGL _and_ Default rendering. @Khaled, saw you've been poking at this with -- thanks! https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/54154/ =-ref-= On Windows 10 Home 64-bit en-US (ver 1709) with Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha1+ (x64) Build ID: 8162520f251f3382b84d97319ca7facf0bb9c670 TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-05-13_00:48:05 Build ID: 29cebedfbdc8a8d3bf47e9a8148dc081bf86eb10 TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-05-16_00:28:23 Build ID: 8c07193cec5e09d50b20bc5b107da02a7d8f05a5 TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-05-17_23:03:56 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117677] Include more buttons for Data manipulation in Data tab in Calc.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117677 --- Comment #2 from Pedro--- This one is especially important to me since I use spreadsheets a lot. Anyone that performs heavy spreadsheet analysis for a living (ex. Customer Research Managers) also knows that having these data manipulation actions easily visible and accessible in their own tab is essential for their productivity. That and easy and fast access to pivot tables and Macros (Calc is good enough in both those fronts...). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
