I wrote: *sections*, *like in sidebar*... Sorry Mike, I'm just dense. Yes we expand/collapse the "Content panels" held in the Sidebar Deck. There are a few collapsible "sections" in the dialogs, but "Tab" pages are simply a more functional GUI in more instances--here it could be either. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Well think we do on most dialogs, e.g. Tools -> Options, or Expert Configuration. Specific glyph depends on DE where the slection choices are "+ or -" pairs, and some as "⏵or ⏷" pairs. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118477] New: Draw Pivot Point is not remembered after deselection.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118477 Bug ID: 118477 Summary: Draw Pivot Point is not remembered after deselection. Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.4.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mbbtheb...@yahoo.com Description: The pivot-point should be remembered after being custom-set, with a separate button to re-set the pivot point to default. (in case you lost it off-screen) Or there should be a setting (system-wide or toggle per object) to remember it. And a new button to re-set the pivot point to it's default. The side-bar under properties>rotation would be a place to have them too. Here is an example movie of how it works in Inkscape (and why): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpVjhl0lVeo see also: https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/136986/two-problems-with-pivot-points/ Steps to Reproduce: 1. create a shape (triangle) 2. go to rotation mode 3. click object twice, move pivot point to a corner of the triangle 4. rotate triangle (it rotates around the corner) 5. select anything else 6. re-select the triangle and try to rotate it, it will rotate around center, not it's corner. The pivot point has jumped back. Actual Results: When trying to make an umbrella, copies had to be rotated correctly in one move, or the point had to be re-set again. Expected Results: It should remember the pivot point to remain in place when rotating the same object twice. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Once set, you can copy the object and it is remembered in the copy once. But once de-selected it is lost. When accessing the rotation via [right-click >position and size > rotate] twice, it resets in between, because right-button is de-selecting Derivative of https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77815 (Which should probably by set to fixed, as that part works) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Example 家 - reads only one Korean Sound, 가(ga) 茶 - read 2 Korean Sounds, 차(Cha), 다(Da) 龜 - read 3 Korean Sounds, 구(Gu), 귀(Gwi), 균(Gyun). 寧 - read 3 Korean Sounds, 녕(Nyeong), 령(Ryeong), 영(yeong). 樂 - read 4 Korean sounds, 낙(Nak) 락(Lak) 악(Ak) 요(yo). But, In LibreOffice's "Hangul/Hanja Conversion" feature, Hanja(한자/漢字) to Hangul(한글) results only one Korean Hangul Pronunciation. 家 - reads only one Korean Sound, 가(ga) -> It's Ok 茶 - read 2 Korean Sounds, 차(Cha), 다(Da) 茶啖 Example) - 다담(Da Dam) - 차담(Cha Dam) 茶房 Example) - 다방(Da Bang) - 차방(Cha Bang) Reference: https://medium.com/@studioego/%ED%95%9C%EA%B5%AD%EC%96%B4%EC%97%90%EC%84%A0-%E8%8C%B6-%EB%A5%BC-%EC%B0%A8-%EB%8B%A4-%EB%A1%9C-%EC%9D%BD%EC%8A%B5%EB%8B%88%EB%8B%A4-c4888711873f 龜 - read 3 Korean Sounds, 구(Gu), 귀(Gwi), 균(Gyun). It increases the mass of options for users they don't need it and may be confused. Also removing the options controls and only showing these controls when clicking in complex text isn't perfect as I sometimes need to define CJK/RTL character options in some styles regardless if there is Chinese text in the current document. If the user is using LibreOffice with western UI or has deactivated the visibility of CJK/RTL controls and is writing or clicking in such text, then an infobar prompt can be shown, informing the user that more text controls can be activated and pushing him/her to the options dialog and to the help page. A modal dialog shouldn't be used as users don't read it and close it without reading/understanding. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117813] *.csv database: changing character set needs a disconnect
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117813 Drew Jensen changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||drewjensen.in...@gmail.com Ever confirmed|0 |1 Severity|minor |enhancement --- Comment #7 from Drew Jensen --- It still remains though that if you want to see a change in the beamer grid after changing the character set configuration for an ODB datassource the only way is to disconnect and then reconnect by clicking on the Tables or Queries entry in the Database tree view. The same is true for the Base UI. After the connection is created a change to that configuration property will not affect the open connection. The refresh table operation will not update the connection object for this property either. The only option to see the change in a table grid is to drop and recreate the default connection with a macro or the easier, close and reopen the file. In the beamer there are separate connection objects created it appears for viewing data in the beamer grid versus dragging (inserting) data into the sheet and that would explain why the change is picked up there. Since a .CSV File datasource type lists all .csv files in a directory as tables it might be easy to see how a disconnect_reconnect feature would be useful feature. Perhaps not just with a UI exposure at the Beamer but in the Base UI also. So, open the connection properties and change the url from "file://example.fdb" to "file:///home/drew/Desktop/libreofficedev6.2/program/example.fdb" and of course all is good. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117849 --- Comment #2 from Ηλίας Ηλιάδης --- The ok works perfect. If you click in say the second row and then click OK the "Companies" form will receive the registration number from the first column of the selected row and will print 1: plus the registration number to the text box on the right of "Test Dialog Grid" button.
