[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 120473] New: SIDEBAR: Proposal for panel tab navigation behavior change
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120473 Bug ID: 120473 Summary: SIDEBAR: Proposal for panel tab navigation behavior change Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: rayk...@gmail.com There is an inconsistency between the way tab navigation behaves before and after a panel title bar gets focus. To reproduce this in Writer: 1) Open sidebar Menu->View->Sidebar 2) click on Page tab in sidebar tab bar 3) click on Number combobox in Styles panel (must be direct click on combobox, no click on Styles title to expand panel) 4) press tab key to tab through each item in the panel content until returning to the Number combobox 5) press shift+tab key to reverse tab through each item Notice tab cycle does not enter panel title tab bar. 6) click on Styles title or press Escape key (focus is now on Styles title) 7) press tab key (focus is now on Styles panel title bar tool box) 8) press tab key (focus is now in panel content Number combobox) 9) press tab key until focus is on Columns combobox 10) press tab key Notice focus returns to Styles title. So far this doesn't seem bad but it isn't consistent. Even less consistent/expectant is when shift+tab is used to move through panel content after panel title bar gets focus. 11) click on Styles title 12) press shift+tab key (focus moves to Number combobox, user may expect focus to move to Columns combobox) 13) press shift+tab key (focus moves to Columns combobox) 14) press shift+tab key (focus moves to Layout combobox, expected) 15) press shift+tab key (focus moves to Background combobox, expected) 16) press shift+tab key (focus moves to Styles panel title, jumps over the first combobox in panel and over panel tool box) I would like to propose that after entering a panel content in any way, tab navigation behaves as in steps 4 and 5 and panel title tab bar is not included in tab stops. To move focus to the panel title bar use the Escape key or mouse click on the panel title bar. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I copied the image twice producing 3 versions. I opened the file in LibreOffice 5.2.7.2 on MacOS Yosemite and rotated the second image left, it rotates correctly. I saved, closed and opened the file in LibreOffice 6.0.6.2 on Windows 7 (though it doesn the same in version 6 on Mac) and rotated the third image left, it incorrectly crops the image as can be seen in the example file. This should highlight the line item. 2) Grab (left click & hold) the NP scroll bar slider. 3) Vertically move the slider until the selected line item is off the pane. 4) Hold (continue left mouse button down), do not release the slider. 5) In a moment, the slider acts as if it has lost mouse focus then re-positions to bring the selected line item back in sight. It does resize the frame in older versions, but not correctly. The height of the frame is reduced, but the width is not increased. This makes the image cropped even in older versions. Thus I hesitate to call this a regression. Anyway, bibisected on Windows to https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=3919d87210ea12ed3166c649ac52730026db01a4 The oldest code has the comment //#i84870# - no shrink of text frame, if it only contains one as-character anchored object. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 120465] New: The sheet event 'Content changed' is not raised if an array-formula was edited.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120465 Bug ID: 120465 Summary: The sheet event 'Content changed' is not raised if an array-formula was edited. Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.3.0 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: j...@psilosoph.de Created attachment 145540 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=145540=edit The demo announced in the report. If the sheet event 'Content changed' (so described in the dialog) got assigned a user Sub, this Sub is (shoud be) called everytime something was edited in the sheet. (The event should be renamed "Content edited" as it also is raised if editing results in unchanged content.) This works with entereing, deleting, editing any content of type text or number. It also works if ordinary formulas are edited, if "=sqrt(2)" gets replaced with "=PI()" e.g. The routine is NOT called if a formula for array-evaluation is entered or edited. (Del and Undo are a different thing in this case.) This even holds if a formula is/was unnecessarily entered for array evaluation, and does not lock an output range. The attached example contains a extremely simple Sub assigned to the mentioned event. Edit any of the formulas therein to verify may claim for all the mentioned cases. This is "heritage". I even created the example with V3.3. However, I stumbled over the behaviour using V6.1.1.2. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 120464] New: Creating a new Heading style from standard Heading N style does not copy outline level
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120464 Bug ID: 120464 Summary: Creating a new Heading style from standard Heading N style does not copy outline level Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mikekagan...@hotmail.com When creating a new paragraph style based on a pre-existing Heading N style (or, generally, on a style which is used in Chapter Numbering), the newly created style does not have the parent's outline level (it has "Body text" level). It's natural that participation in Chapter Numbering cannot be inherited; but the level itself should. The problem here is that users don't expect *some* property of heading styles to not be inherited, and are confused not seeing the newly created styles in Navigator/ToC etc. Also, maintaining the structure could be more difficult in case of changing the level, because children styles need to be modified separately. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new text document. 2. Make sure that Heading 1 is used in Chapter Numbering function. 3. Right-click the Heading 1 style in Styles sidebar pane, and choose New... Actual: On the Outline & Numbering page, see that outline level is Body text. Expected: The outline level is the same that Heading 1 has. If Heading 1 outline level changes (e.g., editing Chapter Numbering), children that haven't overridden the setting explicitly should also get the change. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
