[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121327] New: Support multi-colored fonts using CBDT/SBIX tables
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121327 Bug ID: 121327 Summary: Support multi-colored fonts using CBDT/SBIX tables Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: shanshandehongx...@outlook.com Description: This is similar to bug 104403, but for fonts with CBDT/sbix tables instead (https://docs.microsoft.com/zh-cn/typography/opentype/spec/cbdt https://docs.microsoft.com/zh-cn/typography/opentype/spec/sbix). This might be a trickier as instead of rendering layered glyphs with different colors we will need to render raster graphics. We already have decent raster image support, but LibreOffice doesn’t make use of it from a low level as text rendering in VCL. Since HarfBuzz got support in version 2.1.0, it’s possible to render color glyphs via accessing these tables. Linux version - focus moves to write direction toolbox with no enabled items. 7) Tab Windows version - focus moves to vertical alignment toolbox as expected Linux version - focus moves back to horizontal alignment toolbox as can be seen by pressing the Left Arrow key Expected results - Tab navigation should skip toolboxes with no enabled or visible items The bug here may be that the Paragraph properties panel toolboxes are not behaving correctly based on the current selection context. Even so, tab navigation should move over toolboxes if there are no visible or enabled items. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121324] New: Writer 6.1 thru at least 5.4.4.2 cannot open docx files created by ver. 5.1 or MS Word
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121324 Bug ID: 121324 Summary: Writer 6.1 thru at least 5.4.4.2 cannot open docx files created by ver. 5.1 or MS Word Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.0.0.beta1 Hardware: x86 (IA32) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: cochra...@aol.com I have been working with LibreOffice Writer ver. 5.1 for about the last year without a hitch. During the last few weeks I created a 20 page document and saved it in docx format. I got a note saying that ver. 6 was now available, so I decided to upgrade. With ver 6.0 when I went back to my docx files created under ver 5.1 I had either blank pages or a few overwritten lines at the top of the file. I thought the files were somehow corrupted: not a pleasant thought. I had printed out the file under ver 5.1 so used Adobe pdf converter to change it to docx format. I fed this back to ver. 6.0 and it came in, understandably, with formatting issues. I beat the files back into shape a page at a time in 6.0. Any docx files created in 6.0 could be read by it, but none of those created by the older ver 5.1. I also tried opening some older docx files created by MS Word with ver. 6.0 and they were also blank or overprinted. Today, I uninstalled ver. 6.0 and installed ver 5.4.4.2 only to discover that it couldn't open docx files either. I uninstalled 5.4.4.2 and installed vere. 5.1.3.2 and, Thank God!!!, I could read my docx files again. Obviously, the file reading bug lies somewhere between ver. 5.1.3.2 and 5.4.4.2. I listed the bug as critical because I have over 1,000 files I couldn't read, but I still love the program and am confident you'll find and kill the bug. In the interim, I'm happy using 5.1.3.2. Thank you for the kind reply, and I'm sorry for late to reply back. (I spent the time by facing to the another torouble about the macro-button, and have been away from the mails.) I thought that I had seen the Dotted-Line in the very old version. I found that the meaning of the Dotted-Line sometimes includes the Dashed-Line, by the internet dictionary. If you make the spec. of the Line-type so, it's all right. It gives the Calc the rich expressive force to add the dot-dot-...-Line to the Line-types, I think and recommend. (I wish I could help to edit the sources.) Anyway, I'll use the short-Dashed-Line for the weak separators. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121323] New: Crash dragging button after un-grouping compound group
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121323 Bug ID: 121323 Summary: Crash dragging button after un-grouping compound group Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha1+ Master Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: jim.av...@gmail.com Description: A crash occurs while dragging a button over a "frozen" spreadsheet row under certain circumstances. This happens every time with the attached spreadsheet ("crash.ods"), if a (unrelated) group of buttons is first un-grouped. Somehow the act of un-grouping the group makes a later button-drag crash. FWIW, the group is a compound group created by grouping a row of buttons, then selecting that group and another button and grouping the combination. The demo was derived from a production spreadsheet developed using earlier LO versions, so the crash might be due to backwards-compatibility issues (just guessing). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open attached spreadsheet "crash.ods" (Disable macros if prompted) 2. View->Toolbars->Form Design: Checked 3. In the floating Form Design toolbar, click the icon to enter Design Mode 4. Click in the YELLOW button, to select the large group 5. Rightclick->Group->Ungroup 6. Click somewhere else (de-selects the buttons) 7. Then open the drop-down list from "Paste" icon. Select item "Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE link)'. Look in input bar. Expected: Something similar to =DDE("soffice";"D:\Desktop\Quelle.ods";"Sheet1.B3") If you drag with Ctrl+Shift, then a DDE link is generated. The DDE link works as expected. Changes in the source file are automatically reflected in the target file without need to press Strg+Shift+F9. Manually entering the function DDE works too. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121317] New: Libreoffice Viewer on Android breaks with lengthier files (not just slow but parts missing/appearing after minutes/excessive render errors/...)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121317 Bug ID: 121317 Summary: Libreoffice Viewer on Android breaks with lengthier files (not just slow but parts missing/appearing after minutes/excessive render errors/...) Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: Android Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Android Viewer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: jonas@thiem.email Description: Libreoffice Viewer on Android breaks with lengthier files. I tried to open a DOCX that is long with about 400 pages, but otherwise quite simple (not a large file, barely any images, simple layout, ...). This file not only loads up in the desktop version on slower computers without issues, but editing is almost snappy, even at the top of file where lots of things need to be possibly moved down when you insert/type. However, on LibreOffice, not only do I look at a white screen for many minutes(!), afterwards, a few rectangles of the first page will pop in, some pixelated, some missing, some swapped, some reverting to black - it looks like a huge mess, and once I scroll down to page two, nothing again. Scrolling is smooth, just the contents are affected. Is there some fundamental design issue going on with everything loaded up into one unified scrollable texture or something? (Bad idea even on a desktop GPU for a 400 page document...) Whatever it is, it'd be nice if this could be changed since this makes the viewer useless for non-trivial document lengths. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a lengthier document (300 pages minimum) 2. Scroll down expecting to see contents & text Actual Results: Scrolling is smooth, but I either see a white nothingness, black weird rectangles, super pixelated unreadable parts or just a swapped out mess. Expected Results: I can see the document properly Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Affected release is 5.2.3.1/01ec8f3 from f-droid, which wasn't listed in the Versions box. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89232 --- Comment #16 from Daniel Mcr --- Hi, In Libre Office Online currently you can put a comment on an item, we use Google Docs where you have threaded view that can be pulled up any time from within the document and the ability for 'resolved' comments to stay in place. That way you have a clear history of what has been discussed and can be referred back to. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121284 --- Comment #7 from Marco A.G.Pinto --- (In reply to NARAYAN from comment #6) > The intent of this bug report is not just to fix one spelling mistake, but > to evaluate the entire dictionary database to see where the words come from. Yes, and I have just fixed it: I added "pre" to the GB speller, so, if it is used with an hyphen, words won't be flagged: pre-test pre-reform pre-word But I am only the GB maintainer, for the other spellers, please open a case in Kevin Atkinson's GitHub: https://github.com/en-wl/wordlist Anyway, LibreOffice only updates the spellers in each major release, so this will only be available in 6.3 since 6.2 has closed commits.
