[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 39178] Writer EDITING, FILESAVE: Working of "record/track changes" is extremely slow (Press enter takes one minute)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39178 --- Comment #20 from Luke Kendall --- This was very much the case with LO up until around version 6.1.2.1 (or perhaps the release version before that). Performing the steps as described required a wait of a minute or more. Strangely, a workaround was to *paste* a paragraph break rather than just hitting Enter. However, as of a recent version of Writer, this problem has been fixed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

However, with Libreoffice Writer 6.1, one millimeter or two are enough to send the screen contents shooting up or down in an uncontrollable manner. The movement that makes, say, Edge scroll by one line will make LibreOffice Writer scroll by one screen, or more. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a long document with LibreOffice Writer 2. Do a two-finger scroll moving your fingers up and down on the trackpad just a little bit 3. Rendering into RYB color theory correct "Tints" (i.e. White added) of 30%, 45%, 60% and 75%; and "Shades" (i.e. Black added) of 20%, 40%, 60% and 80%. The 20%, 40% and 60% Shades hold their RYB hue fairly well--while the 80% shade is admittedly a bit muddled, tending into browns. Design team is committed to a RYB color palette, and not clear a better algorithm for RYB pallet generation is possible. The 80% shade might be reduced to a 70% to render in hue, but the design is intentional. On third step assign 0 (or FALSE) to one option, 1 (or TRUE) to the other option. - Isn't the same for the field. If you set it to 'true' (lower cased) and 'false' (also lower cased) it will work right. The checkbox for boolean field works the same way. If you set the values here to 1 and 0 it won't show 'true' content. Don't know why it isn't implemented, because it works well in queries. But the values shown by the queries in Tools > SQL will show with SELECT * FROM "demo" where "boolean" = 1 Output: 0,true,1,1, 2,true,0,1, I will confirm the bug, but it will work right with the value queries return for the boolean fields. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121675] New: Change of hatching lost when reopening document
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121675 Bug ID: 121675 Summary: Change of hatching lost when reopening document Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.2.1 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: johannes.wandin...@hm.edu Created attachment 146981 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=146981=edit Document showing the hatching problem 1. Insert an OLE-Object into a writer document: Insert -> Object -> OLE-Object 2. Click into the OLE-Object: Folie -> Folieneigenschaften (sorry, I have a German menu) 3. Select Hintergrund (Background) -> Schraffur (Hatching ?) 4. Define a new hatching Now save and quit the document. When the document is opened again, the OLE-Object still looks ok, but when you open it, the new hatching has gone. The attached document has a new hatching defined that you should see when opening the document. As soon as you open the OLE-Object, the hatching is spoiled. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
