** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 101195] Calc cannot open large xls file with many images

2018-11-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101195

4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';

Warm Regards,
QA Team

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 39178] Writer EDITING, FILESAVE: Working of "record/track changes" is extremely slow (Press enter takes one minute)

2018-11-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39178

This was very much the case with LO up until around version 6.1.2.1 (or perhaps
the release version before that). Performing the steps as described required a
wait of a minute or more.

Strangely, a workaround was to *paste* a paragraph break rather than just
hitting Enter.

However, as of a recent version of Writer, this problem has been fixed.

Sometimes I wish Windows were as functional as Linux is. In most distros, you
have two clipboard buffers: the usual Ctrl+V one, and the selection +
middle-click one. So this feature request would be Windows-only.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121684] New: Scroll speed unmanageably fast when using touchpad in windows

2018-11-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121684

Bug ID: 121684
Summary: Scroll speed unmanageably fast when using touchpad in
windows
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.1.3.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: nachodelosr...@gmail.com

Description:
A two-finger scroll in the touchpad in other applications moves the screen
contents smoothly up and down in a nice, controlable fashion.

However, with Libreoffice Writer 6.1, one millimeter or two are enough to send
the screen contents shooting up or down in an uncontrollable manner. The
movement that makes, say, Edge scroll by one line will make LibreOffice Writer
scroll by one screen, or more.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a long document with LibreOffice Writer
2. Do a two-finger scroll moving your fingers up and down on the trackpad just
a little bit
3. Watch the text shoot up and down incredibly fast

Actual Results:
Text shoots up and down very, very fast

Expected Results:
The text should scroll at a reasonable speed, comparable with other programs.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

No, this is unchanged since the current RYB standard.soc was committed to
project source 2018-01-30

The Standard pallet now uses algorithmic generation [1] of RYB from sRGB
values. Rendering into RYB color theory correct "Tints" (i.e. White added) of
30%, 45%, 60% and 75%; and "Shades" (i.e. Black added) of 20%, 40%, 60% and
80%.

The 20%, 40% and 60% Shades hold their RYB hue fairly well--while the 80% shade
is admittedly a bit muddled, tending into browns.

Design team is committed to a RYB color palette, and not clear a better
algorithm for RYB pallet generation is possible.

The 80% shade might be reduced to a 70% to render in hue, but the design is
intentional.

2018-11-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Bug ID: 121683
Summary: Formatting: Some wrong colors in Standard palette
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.2.0.0.beta1+
  Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED

Standard color palette

The colors shown on the Standard palette do not appear to be correct. The
darker colors have too much gray or brown. Example: Tools > Options >
Application Colors.

This was not a problem in 6.2 alpha.

I have seen other bug reports about issues with the colors in the Standard
palette but I am not sure if they cover this problem. Apologies if this should
be considered a duplicate.

This extension partly written in Java doesn't execute the Java:
https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/libo_plantuml/

It works on Windows.
It works on Linux with LibreOffice 6.1

I have tried to execute the command manually in a terminal with success.
I have tried to execute the command from at simple test macro, where the
parameters are hard coded. It seems that the jar either doesn't execute at all,
or only runs for less that a second.
Other shell commands execute fine.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121652] Option buttons in forms do not show current value if it is boolean

2018-11-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon

> Isn't the same for the field. If you set it to 'true' (lower cased) and
> 'false' (also lower cased) it will work right.

That's right, it will. Which makes this bugreport more about behaviour
inconsistency than anything (perhaps the description should be updated).

What I mean is:

- if TRUE/FALSE or 1/0 is incorrect representation for boolean values (in
LibreOffice Base's conventions) then these radiobuttons should not set the
values correctly and produce error instead or just fail silently;
- if TRUE/FALSE or 1/0 is considered correct representation of boolean values
(as well as true/false) then these cases should be handled properly and the
radiobuttons should work as expected.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121681] New: Button "Move up" from bullets and numbering's toolbar doesn't work cause a table

2018-11-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121681

Bug ID: 121681
Summary: Button "Move up" from bullets and numbering's toolbar
doesn't work cause a table
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.2.0.0.beta1+
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: fabiru...@gmail.com

Description:
When I try to use the button move up from the toolbar of bullets and numbering,
I can't continue cause a table that is in the middle of the list.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.I have a list of paragraph with the Heading 2 style and they have numbering's
format. Like:
   1. Title
 1.2 Title
2.But when I add a new paragraph after from a table it doesn't conserve
previous format. Sometime like that
  1. Title
1.2 title
   Table
1. title
3.And doesn't conserve bold's format of numbering.

Actual Results:
4.When I use the button "Move up" for copy the format and continue the
numbering it doesn't works because of the table in the middle of the list.
5.Also I tried clone the format, but is the same problem.

Expected Results:
I expect that I can clone the format of the numbering before.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Seems this is the reason:
-
3c. On third step assign 0 (or FALSE) to one option, 1 (or TRUE) to the other
option.
-
Isn't the same for the field. If you set it to 'true' (lower cased) and 'false'
(also lower cased) it will work right.

The checkbox for boolean field works the same way. If you set the values here
to 1 and 0 it won't show 'true' content.

Don't know why it isn't implemented, because it works well in queries. But the
values shown by the queries in Tools > SQL will show with
SELECT * FROM "demo" where "boolean" = 1
Output:
0,true,1,1,
2,true,0,1,

I will confirm the bug, but it will work right with the value queries return
for the boolean fields.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121679] New: Ctrl+Shift+J does not fully maximise the workspace on Ubuntu 18.10

2018-11-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121679

Bug ID: 121679
Summary: Ctrl+Shift+J does not fully maximise the workspace on
Ubuntu 18.10
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.1.2.1 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: chi...@lostpin.net

Description:
Ctrl+Shift+J does not fully maximize the workspace on Ubuntu 18.10. I get two
bars on top, the OS's standard bar and LibreOffice's bar. It could be a lot
better if somehow I could eliminate those two bars and have just LibreOffice's
menu bar instead. Apps such as GIMP, Inkscape, Krita, Darktable, Blender, etc.
seem to apply full-screen mode better, at least in Ubuntu 18.10.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ctrl+Shift+J

Actual Results:
I get two bars on top, the OS's standard bar and LibreOffice's bar.

Expected Results:
Just the app's working space, whether that's a Writer document, a Calc table,
etc.

Reproducible: Always

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121678] New: Share mode won't work over samba

2018-11-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121678

Bug ID: 121678
Summary: Share mode won't work over samba
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.1.3.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: dejan.rehber...@gmail.com

Description:
Linux Mint 18.3:
In case I want so access a shared spreadsheet over samba the shared mode is not
detected ( spreadsheet seems as if it was not shared under tools -> share
spreadsheet -> "Share this spreadsheet with other users" ).

I am even not able to enable this option when manipulating a file stored on
remote samba folder:
Nothing happens after I try to activate it, as if I never selected this option
( tools -> share spreadsheet -> tick "Share this spreadsheet with other users"
).

No problems detected when accessing remote file from windows.
In linux Mint 18.3 it works fine if file is copied and stored locally - then
shared mode is detected and can be manipulated as expected.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. on Linux mint PC A: enable shared mode on a calc file, close spreadsheet
2. on Linux mint PC A: folder containing the stored calc file is shared (via
samba)
3. on Linux mint PC B: access the remote folder, open the calc file which is
supposed to be in shared mode
4. When file opened I am not informed the file is in shared mode
5. If checked under tools -> Share spreadsheet the "Share this spreadsheet with
other users" is not ticked <<---

6. close spreadsheet on computer B ( which is accessing remote folder ), don't
save anything
7. open same spreadsheet on computer A ( on its local folder ) - it informs
spreasheet is in shared mode
8. now open same file on computer B remotely
9. document is opened in readonly mode, as if it was locked <<---
10. close document on computer B
11. copy the shared file from computer A and stored it locally on computer B
and open it
12. when opened I am informed of shared mode which is expected

13. on Windows PC C: open document ( accessed remotely via shared folder from
Linux computer A )
14. shared mode is detected and works as expected

on all three computers version 6.1.3 is installed

Actual Results:
.When accessing the file ( from Linux mint 18.3 computer ) via remote/samba
folder the shared mode is not available/detected.
When trying to activate shared mode on file accessed via samba nothing happens.

Expected Results:
Shared mode should be detected on a calc file when opened via shared/samba
folder from a linux mint computer.

Bug ID: 121675

   Version: 6.0.2.1 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: johannes.wandin...@hm.edu

Created attachment 146981
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=146981=edit
Document showing the hatching problem

1. Insert an OLE-Object into a writer document: Insert -> Object -> OLE-Object

2. Click into the OLE-Object: Folie -> Folieneigenschaften
(sorry, I have a German menu)

3. Select Hintergrund (Background) -> Schraffur (Hatching ?)

4. Define a new hatching

Now save and quit the document. When the document is opened again, the
OLE-Object still looks ok, but when you open it, the new hatching has gone.

The attached document has a new hatching defined that you should see when
opening the document. As soon as you open the OLE-Object, the hatching is
spoiled.
