Should note that LibreOffice does not natively work with OOXML or MS Binary formats. Those formats must be imported via filter into the LibreOffice application. Then on saving our "native" supported format of ODF will give the best fidelity to the document when reopened into LibreOffice. As discovered using OOXML (e.g. .docx) to directly save to can have formatting issues when reopened back into MS Office product like Word. Save first to ODF (e.g. .odt), and then make a copy as OOXML. In any case, I’m now on 6.4.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) and here are my results: - Time to open the file: 1m36s (compared to 3m51s on 6.2.4). - Time to save the file: 2m18 (compared to 3m03s on 6.2.4). Did you try just typing "a", then below it "b", and below it "c", and then clicking "a" and double-clicking the fill-handle?
