This looks nice with a white background (e.g. the default setting of a Windows Explorer window), however with a dark background (e.g. the desktop with customized wallpaper), the white "frame" looks rather odd and out of place. It would be nice if the "frame" is changed from white to transparent, so that the thumbnail icon adapts well for both light and dark background. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127432 Bug ID: 127432 Summary: Cycle Caps function affects previous word when word begins with numbers. Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.3.0.4 release Hardware: x86 (IA32) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: j...@jfdeck.net Description: When the selected word begins with numerals, and the Cycle Case function is used, on the cycle that is expected to produce Title case, is it applied to the previous word. Steps to Reproduce: 1.In a new document, type the following two strings with capitalization and spacing exactly as shown: abCd 123xyx 2. Position cursor between the "x" and the "y", or select the entire second string 3. Type the Shift+F3 keyboard shortcut repeatedly. Actual Results: The previous word is title-cased. Expected Results: The case only of the selected word should be changed. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: - It seems to be important that the second string begin with numeric characters. - Repeated presses of Shift+F3 will change capitalization in the selected word. However, on the cycle that should produce title caps, the previous (all-alphabetic) word instead is set to title caps. - This might be related to bug 49033; at least, commend #62 on that bug seems to be about something similar. Contemplate Actual Results: Format went fall back to what was predefined Expected Results: Format to stay what you have input before adding/removing row/column Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: es Module: TextDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Linux (All) OS is 64bit: yes Ubuntu 19.04 KDE desktop -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 127430] New: missing documentation for ListSourceType for Combo box
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127430 Bug ID: 127430 Summary: missing documentation for ListSourceType for Combo box Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.4.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: sdk Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: gerhard.we...@t-online.de The documentation for a combo box in https://api.libreoffice.org/docs/idl/ref/servicecom_1_1sun_1_1star_1_1form_1_1component_1_1DatabaseComboBox.html#a2f99ac4d478a97752dfe0fac8cf8b232 regarding com::sun::star::form::ListSourceType ListSourceType is of little value (or even none). It says: specifies the kind of list source. Note: A value of com::sun::star::form::ListSourceType::VALUELIST is not valid for a combo box. It won't be rejected when setting it, but controls will usually ignore it and leave the list empty. But obviously the values 1 to 5 of the named list are used when creating combo boxes in a form: the names displayed and the integer values shown afterwards when inspecting the combo box do coincide. And anyway: a positive statement which values might be used is necessary. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 98698] Multiple blank pages are inserted / Page count increases in a document with many images
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98698 --- Comment #7 from 1000dead <1000d...@gmail.com> --- Created attachment 154009 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=154009=edit Writer inserting blank pages at random in document I have a number of odt files that I work on regularly, most of them are between 200 and 500 pages with a mix of text and embedded images. As I move around editing text, that new text will of course fill a page and flow to the next one moving everything along and increasing the page count by one as normal. However, at random times a blank page would creep in somewhere below which has no data or can be edited, its almost like a graphics glitch, a blank page inserted at random perhaps many pages below I was originally editing perhaps but never above. I assumed this was some bad formatting on my part causing the issue at first, but after a year of this it looks like a bug. Recently the issue has become much more apparent slowing down workflow greatly, when the problem now happens and say I insert just even one single new page in a 500 page document or image, the whole document can suddenly balloon into 600 pages with new blank pages scattered all over. Nothing seems to be corrupted and indeed if I save the document and open it later, those blank pages are gone. I have tried copying the contents into a fresh document, but sooner or later the issue arises again. I have included a sample file which has the problem (I've tried to sanitise the data somewhat in the file for privacy) Libreoffice version: Version: 6.2.7.1 Build ID: 6.2.7-1 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.2; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-GB Calc: threaded OS: Linux 0 5.2.11-arch1-1-ARCH Thanks for your time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

This didn't always work with the context menu, but you can use Format ->Arrange... This seems to the behaviour described in bug #124430. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

We already can customize the toolbars, menus, context menus, and even assign short-cuts to any of themn (via Tools -> Customize). Also, the DirectTo commands pick up the Export dialog's configuration as recorded to user profile--and so are statefull allowing you to set your export preferences, e.g. Compression Tagging, or the use of the Hybrid PDF (which appends the ODF archive into the PDF). https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127427 Bug ID: 127427 Summary: Make it easier to clear, then re-introduce, highlight Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.3.0.2 rc Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: eyal...@technion.ac.il A common pattern of use for the highlighting feature is the following: Only one color of highlight is ever used, in addition to the no-highlight "color". As one edits, one intermittently wishes to highlight some text (e.g. for later consideration); but intermittently also to un-highlight previously-highlighted text (e.g. when deciding it no longer requires any later work). The problem in this editing pattern is that one repeatedly needs to perform the lengthy switch of highlight color: Not just pressing a button, but also locating the appropriate color in the dialog. It would have been easier if one could make the switch with less "cognitive effort" or "UI engagement effort". Two alternatives I can think of: * A "clear highlight color" button, with no drop-down dialog, in addition to the existing one. * Different behavior of the highlight color button, so that clicking it after the drop-down dialog has opened cycles between the last few chosen highlight colors. and maybe one can conceive of other ideas. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126880 LAP changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |FIXED Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #3 from LAP --- After searching for similar reports of missing menu bars I noticed that a lot of such reports were fixed by changing the GTK3 theme. In my gtk-3.0/settings.ini file the theme was set to "Raleigh." I changed the theme to "Adwaita" and both the missing menu problem and the sluggish input problem disappeared. So the issue seems resolved. But the solution brings up another question. Is the original problem, that is the failure of input and menus with a particular theme, the fault of LibreOffice or with GTK3? Using a particular GUI theme should not cause problems with menu bars or with keyboard input. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 127424] New: Rework fix for Bug 63955 in ViewInformation per Armin's Suggestion
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127424 Bug ID: 127424 Summary: Rework fix for Bug 63955 in ViewInformation per Armin's Suggestion Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha0+ Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: graphics stack Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: lukebe...@hotmail.com The fix for Bug 63955l introduced regressions. Armin Le Grand from bug 63955, comment #18 said: "Why was this fixed *in the primitive creation* ? Primitive creation should always represent the 'truth' about the geometry. If decomposition takes too long, the fix should be where it gets decomposed. Each decomposition implementation at the primitive level *has* ViewInformation exactly for that purpose (!) Did I mention that for dashed lines when *clipping* against *something* the dash *will move* and not be the same as when started from the line's start? The fix also does not prevent a 18km long line be fed to rendering from other sources, only one source is eliminated. That's why it should be fixed where it gets visualized/discretized." The regressions were worked around in Bug 120350 with a note suggesting to perform clipping elsewhere: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=1dccd6814f1f -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
