https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99304 --- Comment #11 from QA Administrators --- Dear Jim Avera, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 54933] EDITING Report builder: mouse-move control: gap between mouse position
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54933 --- Comment #43 from milly texas --- Balding happens to the best of us. You're roaring along in your 20's, living life to the fullest - with a head full of hair, of course. Then you hit 30, and the thickness of your mane starts to decline. According to the https://www.thestyledare.com/2020/06/jensen-ackles-haircuts.html American Hair Loss Association, more than 65 percent of men notice some hair loss by their 35th birthday, even if they're in denial. By the time they turn 50, 85 percent of men are considerably balding. So what's a guy to do? There's no need to panic if you are one of the many men who are balding. Jude Law and Dwayne Johnson, John Travolta and Bruce Willis, Jason Statham and lots of other celebrities prove that older balding men often look sexier and more stylish than younger boys. https://www.thestyledare.com/ Still can't believe it's possible? We've got the best-looking haircuts and hairstyles for balding men, from long hairstyles to short cuts with beards and more. What is the best haircut for balding? Nowadays, this question has lots of solutions from special losing hair products to on-top male hairstyles to cover bald spots. In the pictures below you'll find hairstyles for balding men with thinning hair in front or a bald spot on the crown. Is short hair better for balding? Definitely yes, since any almost bald haircut https://www.thestyledare.com/2020/06/how-to-know-if-you-can-grow-beard.html minimizes most of the risks and looks good no matter how thin your hair is. Such close cut or burr cut is less aggressive than taking a razor to your hairline, but it hides any patchiness. Have a balding crown? No problem. Wear your hair with confidence: just crop it shorter on the sides and a bit longer on top, work some texturizing product into your hair to boost thickness and balance the receding hairline. Also known as men's crop, french crop, or men's fringe, the Caesar cut is perfect for men with thinning hair in the back. You need to create some texture coming down to your face: brush the front hair forward and make sure that it's neither too long nor too short. If your hair lies flat, it may visually seem even https://www.thestyledare.com/2020/04/medium-hairstyles-for-men.html finer, drawing attention to bald spots. So, it's better to cut your hair shorter and make it a bit messy with hair wax. Play with a deep side part and texture hide all bare areas. The crew cut is one of those short sexy haircuts that pairs perfectly with any age. Moreover, this trendy cut works great to hide any bare spots: just keep it a bit longer and spike up. That's why this one is one of the favorites for balding men. For Womens Medium-length hair is the perfect length for anyone who's over 50. No matter your face shape, you can't really go wrong with a cut that falls somewhere between the chin and a few inches below the shoulders. It's super popular, and it never goes out of style. What's more is that it's still long enough to be considered sexy, but not so long that you'll look like you're trying to be 25 again. Finding the perfect shoulder-length cut for you depends on your hair texture, your face shape, and your lifestyle—but when all three are taken into account you can come out with a wonderful https://www.thestyledare.com/2020/05/long-bob-with-bangs.html hairstyle that will make you feel like yourself. The most flattering medium styles include long bobs, shaggy styles, wavy hair, and pin straight cuts. Bangs can take years off a face, and layers can both lighten thick hair and add loads of body to fine hair. There are plenty of ways to go with a medium-length haircut. This haircut works on Diane Keaton because it doesn't compete with her funky wardrobe. It's simple, flattering and no-nonsense. An edgier cut would overwhelm her. It's a perfect example of the haircut fitting a woman's personality. Keep in mind that Keaton always sports some pretty amazing glasses. If you wear glasses, you can use them to play up your style. It's a fashion accessory that not everyone has, so make the most of it and explore your options to find a fit that matches your personal style. As people age, their hair naturally loses https://www.thestyledare.com/2020/04/medium-length-haircuts.html some of its body, which can leave it looking a little...lifeless. To get some volume back in fine, thinning hair, you'll want to have layers cut in, then use a volumizing mousse or spray to style it. Be sure to add product to the roots and at the crown, but never on top of your hair, because that'll only weigh it down. Blow dry it with a diffuser, or even just scrunch it dry to create body. Raquel Welch may have been in her 70s when this photo was taken, but her lustrous, voluminous hair works for any age. Plus, the bright highlights give her a youthful glow she might not have had otherwise. -- You are receiving this mail

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132928 --- Comment #12 from Telesto --- Created attachment 162526 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=162526=edit Example file Small note/warning of a side effect of changing the wrap setting to page wrap Optimal wrap places the first paragraph below the image, if the image is the first thing on the page (as does Wrap off) All other cases hide the paragraph/cursor behind the image (in the given case). A like the 'optimal wrap' way, so a cursor below (instead of hidden behind). Except the part where you press Enter below the image, and image moves down.. but that does only happen with to character anchoring, not with to paragraph (I ideally prefer the "to paragraph" behavior in this given case) So it's not a simple change the default without side effects (or additional changes are needed) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133510] Time data (not time stamp) does not work properly.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133510 --- Comment #6 from Cecil Carpenter --- (1) MySQL Server 5.7.30-0ubuntu0.18.04.1 (2) Connection type: MySQL (Native) (3) No special settings I'm not sure I can get more minimalist than what I gave except for the stored procedure code which you could execute from a terminal with a call. So you would need two (2) Columns, one to contain the values you enter and another to contain the running totals of time. Both columns would have MySQL type of Time (HH:MM:SS) Here's the stored procedure code: calc_track_start_times | | CREATE DEFINER=`butch`@`%` PROCEDURE `calc_track_start_times`(in start_volno int, in end_volno int) Block1: begin declare volno, discno, sideno, trackno int; declare cur_volno, cur_discno, cur_side, cur_trackno int; declare cur_trackstarttime, cur_tracklen, next_ts_time, time_zero time; declare no_more_rows boolean; declare no_more_vols boolean; declare no_query_result boolean; declare c1 cursor for select volume_id, disc_no, side, track_no, track_start_time, track_length from track; declare continue handler for not found set no_more_rows := TRUE; set no_more_rows := FALSE; set no_more_vols := FALSE; set volno := start_volno; set discno := 1; set sideno := 1; set trackno := 1; set time_zero := '00:00:00'; open c1; Loop1: loop fetch c1 into cur_volno, cur_discno, cur_side, cur_trackno, cur_trackstarttime, cur_tracklen; if no_more_rows then close c1; set no_more_rows := TRUE; leave Loop1; end if; if no_more_vols then close c1; set no_more_vols := TRUE; leave Loop1; end if; if cur_volno < start_volno then iterate Loop1; end if; if cur_volno > end_volno then close c1; set no_more_vols := TRUE; leave Loop1; end if; if cur_trackno = 1 then set next_ts_time := time_zero; end if; call update_track_start_time (cur_volno, cur_discno, cur_side, cur_trackno, next_ts_time); set next_ts_time := addtime(next_ts_time,cur_tracklen); end loop Loop1; end Block1 You can do away with all the variables that deal with volume, disc, side, and track to simplify the test to a 2 column table. If you prefer not to do that, you can create those columns as type integer and set the volume, disc, and side to 1 in all rows and let the track go for 1 to n where n is the number of rows you want to work with. Optionally, I can send you a track table that I already have with with all columns filled in except the running total. You could then run the stored procedure against that table. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130446] problem when numbering the headings 1-2-3 in docx format upon restarting the document
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130446 Alan Lucas changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|DUPLICATE |--- Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED --- Comment #22 from Alan Lucas --- Hi; This bug is not resolved. I am using version 6.4.4.2 in Linux and the stable version in Windows (6.3.6.2). The following causes the numbering problem: * Create numbered headings using chapter numbering * save as docx and exit * reopen the file * insert a new heading Bug: The new heading always starts with a number of 1. I fix this by clicking on the heading that I have entered; then right click on "Bullets and Numbering" and choose option "Restart Numbering". I then save this as a docx and reopen it in Microsoft Word (365). I insert a new heading and then, lo and behold, this new heading starts at 1 too. To fix this in Word I click Home then select the "Multilevel List" option and then I select a Heading list (or I create my own multi-level list). Basically, the libreoffice document that was sent to Word had the wrong type of list (i.e. not a "Heading" list) The above might not seem like a major problem because it is a workaround. However, the bug is CRITICAL (I cannot change it to this as I do not have authority) because it stops all collaboration on documents with numbered headings between Libreoffice and Word, as I cannot ask my clients to fix numbering problems caused by Libreoffice when they are working in Word. Given that most businesses rely on numbered headings to docx formatted documents this makes it generally impossible to use Libreoffice in a shared business environment. Also, often I receive client documents in docx format I am expected to review them and make changes in docx format - not ODT format. Hope this helps as a clarification. Just to say - this cannot be insuperable as Softmake Office has resolved the docx heading numbering. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134403] New: EDITING Writer sections: Options => Columns tab does not recognize Indents changes
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134403 Bug ID: 134403 Summary: EDITING Writer sections: Options => Columns tab does not recognize Indents changes Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: kaufm...@nb.net This bug is confirmed under Writer 6.4.4.2 and 7.0beta2. When configuring Options for a Section (Context menu: Edit Section... Options...), the first two tabs are Columns and Indents, which are interrelated for the section just as the Columns and Table (Width) tabs are interrelated when configuring a Table. For a Table, the configuration recognizes the connection between the two tabs: Table > Width is specified under the Table tab, and constrains the sum of the Column widths, unless one checks "Adapt table width" to column width changes. However, for the Section Options, where Section width is specified indirectly, the Columns tab does not recognize changes made to the Indents tab, so the final Section configuration is not known until the user exits the configuration tab and sees the result (which is then reflected on the /next/ "Edit Section..."). Note that the calculation of Section width: Section_width = Page_width - (L_margin+R_margin) - (L_indent+R_indent) is already done on /entering/ Section configuration. What prevents that simple calculation from being done whenever the Indents are changed, so that the Columns tab reflects any changes to the Section width? Should Section width treated differently from Table width? [Note: the third such object type, a Frame, is handled again slightly differently: The Frame Width (Edit Frame: Type > Width) can be specified in either absolute units or relative (%) to either page width or page text width (page_width - margins). Regardless how the Frame width is specified, column widths are always specified under Columns relative (%) to the Frame width, and the Frame width never adapts to the sum of column widths. I doubt that this model offers anything to help fix this bug, but want to mention it for completeness if we begin to try to normalize methods.] -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134369] Text does not wrap in Callouts in Impress
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134369 --- Comment #2 from Rafael Lima --- I tried this route and indeed it worked. However, I find it counter-intuitive to have "Word wrap" disabled by default. Most users (including myself) will have trouble finding out that this is the way to wrap text in shapes. I would recommend LO enabling "Word Wrap" by default in all shapes. Also, a more intuitive way to switch "Word Wrap" could be implemented. My suggestion is to add to the shape's context menu a "Text Area Properties" function that would appear without having to "enter the shape" before right-clicking it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133478] Downloaded 6.4.4 from the LibreOffice - all files then open as "open by unknown user" on FILEOPEN
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133478 --- Comment #4 from Derek James --- Sorry - I wanted to be able to work - so I backed out 6.4.4 (snap) and reverted to 6.4.3.2 - the version off the Ubuntu repositories - no problems. I'd taken a flier downloading 6.4.4 anyway. I'll now wait till the version on the repositories gets updated. I don't know if the two versions will co-exist on the machine - so I now have no way of replicating the fault. I'm afraid I don't have test resources. I stated in my original bug report that I'd backed out the new 6.4.4 version. I had things to do. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
