I don't know the source, as the teacher has downloaded it. It appears to be a document embedded in the main document. It displays three pages, the second one containing the document in question, with an image of a scroll. That image is truncated or the document is not fully visible. I've tried in the AppImage version of LO, see the attachments. In Google's viewer it displays properly, prints properly, but it has two pages. In MS Word it is displayed as three pages, but it's fully visible. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140695 Peter S Anderson changed: What|Removed |Added CC||pe...@pza.net.au --- Comment #1 from Peter S Anderson --- I have reproduced this in 7.0.4.6 (x64) and found the same result. Enter .999 in one cell and .998 in another. Format to show 7 decimal places to confirm. In another cell enter a formula to subtract the two cells. The result is 0.000 (not 0.001) In fact it seems to be exactly that. I then did the same thing in Excel and initially got the same result. If I entered the formula =(A1-A2)*1 The result changes to 0.000894. Very Interesting. Changing the formula makes no difference in LibreOffice. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 79330] FILEOPEN: DOC Bullet point (direct) formatting (e.g. highlighting) can't be unformatted without removing the bulleting
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79330 --- Comment #16 from Justin L --- If you look at the numbering list WW8Num1, you will see that level1 is assigned to use character style WW8Num1z0. That character style has a highlight colour, and removing it from the character style "fixes" the bullet point as expected. So from what we can see in the UI, things seem to be correct. So then the focus turns to the reproduce-from-scratch steps from comment 0, which somehow got converted into character style formatting. But I can't reproduce that in master or in 5.2 (from 2017). So, then the focus turns to how MS Word imports these documents. In the original file, the yellow bullet background is not seen in Word 2003, but in the files that LO round-trips, the background is seen. Similarly, 9037 - italics-in-para-causes-italic-numbered-list.doc from bug 108518 is not italicized in Word 2003, but is italicized on a round-tripped file. (That is a long way of coming to the same conclusion as comment 2 :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69043 --- Comment #18 from QA Administrators --- Dear Etienne URBAH, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. Open attached document. It has an image and a Math equation, both anchored 'as character'. Notice that the border has a gap, although the padding of the box is so large, that image and equation would fit inside the box. The border is set in a character style. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75439 --- Comment #10 from Mike Kaganski --- Code pointer: SwEditWin::MouseButtonDown. Near the start of the function, starting on line 2861 [1], it checks if the click is over the header/footer area, and if it is, a call to rSh.ToggleHeaderFooterEdit switches to those. The check for graphic object under the cursor happens later at line 3212 [2]. If we already switched to header/footer, then this check will return false. The function does a lot of stuff, and I have no idea if it is possible to reverse the checks, or postpone the decisions. However, if this is to be fixed, this is the place.
