[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152379] New: Shortcut keys in Paste Special dialog in Calc 7.4.3 does not work any more
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152379 Bug ID: 152379 Summary: Shortcut keys in Paste Special dialog in Calc 7.4.3 does not work any more Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.4.3.2 release Hardware: ARM OS: macOS (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mitja.mas...@gmail.com Description: In LibreOffice 7.4.3 Calc shortcut keys in Paste Special dialog box does not work any more. Eg. in LibreOffice 7.4.2 you can use shortcut key Cmd+U for check/uncheck Formulas paste option, or shortcut Cmd+K for "OK" button. In LO 7.4.3 none of the the shortcuts in Paste Special dialog box works. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy a cell (eg. with Cmd+C) 2. Press Shift+Cmd+V for Paste Special dialog 3. Press Cmd+U to select/unselect Formulas paste checkbox option 4. Press Cmd+K press "OK" button in a dialog Actual Results: Cmd+U does not select Formulas paste checkbox option Cmd+K does not press "OK" button any more There are other shortcuts in this dialog that do not work any more either. Expected Results: Cmd+U should select Formulas paste checkbox option Cmd+K should press "OK" button in a dialog Other shortcut keys should select/unselect other options in a dialog box Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: The bug appeared in LO Calc ver. 7.4.3 release. It worked in 7.4.2 release. I would also recommend from a productivity point of view that a default action is "press OK button" when you press Enter key (Like it was before in LO Calc 7.1 release). I use Paste Special with some check boxes enabled (eg. Formulas) a lot, and just hitting Enter key to confirm in a dialog next time to paste with same selected options is much quicker. Now hitting Enter key in Paste Special Dialog box pasts "Values only", as "Values only" is the default selection every single time Paste Special dialog appears. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152373] Spell check on cell in CALC Sheet Corrects and fails to update cell but works on other cells
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152373 --- Comment #3 from MEI --- When I was correcting the spelling I only corrected the word container. the other 2 words it targeted were spelled correctly. It appears that if you ignore the first word, correct the second word and then close the window it does not update the cell. If you ignore the 3rd word rather than closing the window then it does update the cell. Every word in the cell targeted by the spell check must be address or the cell is not updated. I don't know if this was the intent or is a bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152365 V Stuart Foote changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED CC||vsfo...@libreoffice.org Resolution|--- |INVALID --- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote --- The default template sets the 'Table Contents' to inherit from Default paragraph--that is where Liberation Serif continues to come from. As you found--applying Direct Formatting does not affect the defaults applied from template. For a current document--i.e. opened with default template, you need to modify the Table Contents style. And from its 'Organizer' tab set its to inherit from none, and then set its Font tab as needed. The change will persist for this one document. To reuse the changed fonts for multiple documents you need to save those changes as a new template, and then use that template (rather than the default template) when creating new documents that use the changed font. The hardcoded template defaults are not user changeable otherwise. You have to craft new templates. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 150403] Inconsistency in dynamically applying font substitutions
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=150403 --- Comment #4 from Eyal Rozenberg --- (In reply to Dieter from comment #3) > Sorry for late reply. Perhaps I've misunderstood your first step: "1. Make > sure your system doesn't have a font substitution for the "David" font, nor > does it have it installed" I wasn't specific enough there. I should have written "make sure neither LibreOffice, nor anything else on your system, has a font substitution configured for the 'David' font; and that the David font is not installed on your system." > I understand it, that David font is not installed > (same for Miriam and Miriam CLM). So I won't expect to see it in dropdown > list. Yes, that's right. > So could you please precise your steps? Should I install those fonts > before step 6? No, create a substitution, i.e. tell LibreOffice to use "David CLM" whenever it sees "David" in a document. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

I wanted to use Draw specifically. Unfortunately, shortly after I begin to use it, regardless of what drawing tool I'm using. The program will just suddenly disappear, and when restarted, it produces dialog boxes about recovered documents but they are blank. Also, sometimes the program begins to display strange characters throughout the Window the Libreoffice is running in, then it crashes and disappears. This it the first time I have installed Libre Office on Windows. It seems to work fine On Linux. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152373] New: Spell check on cell in CALC Sheet Corrects and fails to update cell but works on other cells
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152373 Bug ID: 152373 Summary: Spell check on cell in CALC Sheet Corrects and fails to update cell but works on other cells Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: bugzi...@mysquad.net Description: 2nd Occurrence. Spreadsheet with 87xG cells. 4 spreadsheets open in different windows. Left open overnight. Editing text in cells next day. After editing spell check on the cell with cell selected but not editing text in cell. Spellcheck finds word. I correct it and when I close the spellcheck window the cell reverts to its original state. I went to another cell and the spellcheck worked properly. Both cells had been edited. Failed cell 123 words 712 char, working cell 66 words, 436 char. Cloned formatting from working cell to failed cell, still failed. Saved sheet, still fails. Closed sheet reopened, still fails. (1st time it happened closed and reopen fixed, something fixed it don't remember for sure, maybe only 1 window open?) Saved as .xltx closed, reopened, fails. Cut and pasted in new cell, new cell failed. Put new spelling error in old cell and spell correction worked. Pasted content into cell in new sheet, failed. Closed all calc windows, reopened sheet, failed. Restart in safe mode, failed. Steps to Reproduce: 1.?leave sheet overnight 2.paste this content into cell Another innovation to provide you with an economical alternative to standard containers its widely known as our BucketMann. The 5-gallon translucent (see fluid level) graduated pail is a popular choice for its durability and ease in cleaning and use. Why lift the contianer when you can stir and ladle out what you need? Two lids are provided, one for sampling and one for transport. The large opening means no specialized brush to clean and easy inspection of the interior. With a handle and out easy on and off lid your samples can be transported and emptied with complete ease. It is made of the same rugged Polyethylene (Nalgene) as our other bottles so you get the same quality, but for far less money. 3.F7 to spell check cell Actual Results: corrects cell until spell check window is closed. Cell reverts to uncorrected state. Expected Results: corrects cell.
