You can try to reset your LibreOffice profile which is located in /home//.config/libreoffice.
1) Quit LibreOffice.
2) Rename the LibreOffice profile directory.
3) Start LibreOffice.

You should check whether the grammar check is enabled in Tools menu > Spelling
and grammar. At the bottom of the appearing window there is an option named
Check grammar. Make sure that

Can you provide the steps to reproduce the issue and language(s) you try to
use?
Did you enable the spell checking? You can do that in Tools menu > Automatic
Spell Checking.
