https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57335 --- Comment #11 from Julien Nabet serval2...@yahoo.fr --- Augusto: perhaps it could help a little if you upgrade to 3.6.5. I don't expect your problems disappear magically but perhaps it could be better. Moreover, it's always interesting to know the behaviour with the last version (I won't talk about 4.0 since it's perhaps a little too early, above all with Windows, just my humble opinion) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

So we could close this bug as Worksforme? The only problem other people had reported are speed-problems, which are reported in another bug. I will close this bug. If you don't think so, you could reopen it for further comments. I'm 100% sure that something wrong is happening with LO and hsql and freez LO, now i don't care that much since i found the solution that don't use hsql at all, but i can tell you that LO CANT be used for production in this condition.. if you think that's ok, just close this thread. There is nobody, who could confirm this behavior since over 2 month. There is no attachment, which could be used for confirming this behavior. I cant confirm it with all versions installed here - but I have only Linux 32bit rpm. We have a speed-problem since LO 3.4.5. But that is another bug. I only could change this bug to unconfirmed and hope there will be other users, who could give a hint. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57335 --- Comment #6 from Augusto musikdok...@gmail.com --- Hi, i started to use mysql time ago and the problem has gone. Not sure that this particular problem was related with the speed issue, since i had no speed problem this particular case Libreoffice just freez, the cpu jump to 100% and the only way i found to save without corrupt the base is press the X to close the app wait a very few seconds, LO will prompt to save the base, click ok, wait another few seconds (15 20s) and then LO quit, i had some problems with some forms corrupted after that save but now with mysql i had no problems after 2 3 months of hard work and testing.. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57335 --- Comment #2 from Augusto musikdok...@gmail.com --- First at all, thanks. - what's your Windows version? Windows XP sp3 - what's your LibreOffice version? Tested on VersiĆ³n 3.6.3.2 (ID: 58f22d5)SPANISH - did you install any LO specific extensions? one (Mysql connector 1.0.1) i made some tests using LO and Mysql - what's your Java version? I'm using Java 1.6.0_26 If you still reproduce this, could you attach your database file? i'm trying to encapsulate the problem cleaning tables, for example.. but i can't figure what exactly cause this, sometimes just alone, others i saw that was when i jump from a listbox to another without pressing enter.. like if a confirmation was missing or something.. i'll keep you informed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57335 --- Comment #3 from Julien Nabet serval2...@yahoo.fr --- thank you for your feedback. What's your database type? Mysql (since you've got the connector) hsqldb? If mysql, could you attach the script which would allow to recreate the same database? (export structure + data from phpmyadmin for example) Is it a behaviour you noticed from a specific LO version or from a specific change you made? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57335 --- Comment #4 from Augusto musikdok...@gmail.com --- Sorry about my english. I tested both. I use hsqldb but i made some tests using the same database under mysql with the same results.. Is it a behavior you noticed from a specific LO version or from a specific change you made? Not sure, if you ask my own opinion, i think must be a problem on how base save the files. I saw a strange behavior on as soon LO freez the base file is 0kb, then jump to it normal size but still freeze.. so if you close or force by kill the process the base is corrupted most of times.. not sure if that helps in something. at this moment i'm testing without the mysql connector to check if that is the cause of this. Also i'm testing the mysql odb version to see if freeze alone or it just only happens on my hsqldb version.. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
