I'm not and I have never been a Windows systems administrator, so further hints, msi install logs, etc. are most welcome. I'm afraid that I have to install Windows server myself, set up a domain, and so on, because otherwise the bug is not reproducible. Hello You can download virtual drives from MS [1] to load in virtualbox VM. Then you will need a Win system admin to configure the domain and gpo. I found a video [2] on how to promote a basic server to a domain controller. About deploying by gpo, I found -at least- one guide [3].
