Rounded beams

Just out of curiosity: Would LilyPond be able to produce rounded beams like in the attachment without too much hassles? Please note: This isn't anything I need, so please don't spend any time thinking you *help* me. Of course if someone takes the challenge there might be a use for it ... Urs

Well spotted. For some reason the string arrangement I'm adapting uses alternate endings every 8 bars... In looking through all 4 parts, I see no difference in 1st or 2nd endings. I'm betting that this 4-part rendering ONLY used the alt endings to denote a more obvious Fine. I'm going to

T.Morley, you pointed me in the right direction. This gave me the \bar"|." I wanted to end the Menuetto with, but still no \bar"|:" to kick off the Trio. Turns out it was something to do with the \splitBar that I used to get my \mark "Fine" AND my \mark \default. As near as I can tell,

Polyphonic Cues Using \cueDuring

All of the cue examples I’ve seen so far seem to only contain one voice, but it’s not uncommon to see cues containing the notes from multiple parts. If the different parts have the same rhythm, it works nicely to just create a polyphonic quote: \addQuote #”Two Voice Cue” {<< \partI \partII
