just to get this richt: an "alt chord" is a real chord designation and not
just "some altered tones". An "alt chord" has 1, b2, #2, 3, b5, b6, b7
and makes for some interesting sounds, both harmonically (no 5, just

That's sad news. I did mean adding just the text "Bb7alt" to the top of
the bar.
And there is no workaround except for going into the dvi files?

I hope you're using Lily 1.6.7 or higher with the corrected jazz
code...
I know of the problem... many jazzers write
