I'm training some Scheme stuff, especially by rewriting basic Lily
functions in Scheme. I'm now trying to create a function that increases
by 1 the degree of the note argument. So I have to catch the second
figure of the
'pitch
(ly:make-pitch a b c))
to add 1 to it.

when lyric syllabes are close to each other, LilyPond can remove the hyphen,
which is nice.
But unfortunately, there sometimes remains a small space, which can be
confusing because the syllabes then look like two words instead of one.

imagine it would look a lot better than the average computer screen at 96dpi
or 72dpi.
